In reply to: [Helpful] More indepth StatsGreat ideas! I noted that. I do not want to update every detail and collect all wishes. Sorry about the late feedback, www.ads-software.com does not send any notifications.
For me to remember (Dashboard Widget):
– Votes pro and contra total (currently in)
– Votes in percentage
– Recent votes (linked post headlines and amount)
– Popular votes (linked post headlines and amount)Just an info: I will integrate good requests without 3-party plugins like Google, or other JS-Plugins so it is always DSGVO/GDPR compliant.

So you can put {pro} and {contra} into your textareas on the options page, to display the current pro and contra counter for the current post.
So if your user vote, you can answer with: Thank you for voting! {pro} other people are vote for this post.

In reply to: [Helpful] Display Vote Counts After VotingAwesome and thank you! I collect some strings now and then add them to the next update. I did not want to include more styling options because I want to keep the plugin as small as possible.
Thanks! (I’m living in North Rhine Westphalia :D)

In reply to: [Helpful] Display Vote Counts After VotingI just saw that I already integrated that. You can use {pro} and {contra} to output the positive in negative votes in numbers. You can integrate that into your texts.
Just paste (example) in the “Already voted” field: You have already voted for this post. This post has a total of {pro} positive and {contra} negative votes.

In reply to: [Helpful] Display Vote Counts After VotingHi Faterson!
Thanks for your feedback! Showing votes after voting is a good idea. I put this on our todo list. The idea that users can see what they have chosen is not that good, because there are new laws for storing data (DSGVO/GDPR). The plugin should be as easy as possible to use. With saving from user data, we must pass a phrase in every privacy policy. I think that is not so good.
I will gladly accept the translation in the next update. I am not a professional. I just using my school English and a bit of Google. The plugin was originally intended for German.

In reply to: [Helpful] Seems Flawless and Elegant (only 1 Feature Missing for Me)Hey Faterson,
thank you for your feedback! We are just looking for it, in the next days!
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Helpful] hide footer helpfulThat’s a problem with your theme. Your theme uses the_content() function instead of the_excerpt() for other things. Helpful is always placed below the_content(). This is not a bug from the plugin.

In reply to: [Helpful] Shortcode not workingHi jubamad,
you must disable helpful in the settings (helpful hide: check). Then you can use the shortcode. Just remember that you also have to select the post types (post types: check).
