I’m also wondering if there’s any easy way to show categories and sub-categories in the portfolio type archive URL – e.g. site.com/portfolio-type/category/sub-category/, rather than site.com/portfolio-type/sub-category as it is at the moment.

Might be an https issue, I’ve got the following errors in the console:

Thanks very much for that. It’s the resaving permalinks that I’d forgotten about. Works great now.

Many thanks for your help. A plugin (possibly Grider Portfolio) has been recently updated, and that seems to have fixed the issue, everything’s now working again on WP 4.7.3.

Thanks for your reply. I was using the latest version of all of them, that’s the problem! I could only edit the widgetised pages by reverting to the older version of WordPress. Please could you look into a solution?

Put a number in the ‘Show post’ box, or if you’re using a shortcode, use [recent show=”number”].
