I don’t think it’s the server security that it’s blocking the fetching process of generated data. It’s the too long response for the too short timeout. The CSS amount used on the website (500Kb uncompressed) takes about 40 seconds to process but the plugin gave up fetching at the 30s mark. That’s either the timeout as server’s default for cUrl or the plugin assumes in its settings that 30 seconds would be enough. So I can’t do anything about that, it’s not a security/blocking issue on my server. It never happened on another website that has 20Kb of CSS. I think that’s a bug in fetching code. Can you please ask developers to review this issue. Thank you very much!

thank you, solved now, I would never find it there. Maybe you can add to such a blocked request “to whitelist follow this guide” or something like that, so users gets hints where to look.

no other image optimization plugins we use. I rolled back the version to 2.50.3 and it works fine, version 2.50.4 and newer has the issue.

I was looking for adding entries to an already existing sitemap page. The solution you offered is somehow good but add complexity. It looks like wpseo_sitemap_post_content hook should do the job only I have something wrong. I couldn’t find on Google any workable solution. Any more suggestions?

“fresh and catchy” is pure marketing BS language. It’s obnoxious, full stop.
It moves all the time, breaks concentration. If it moves, it should move just once and stop, at least for a while.
