I have one more question that is when we add new pages to the localhost we give permalink https://localhost/wordpress/mypage but what should be the path when I add the page on server. My domain is aarshsolutions.com/credit/corporate where my wordpress folder is located. but that obviously is a directory but localhost/wordpress is not the directory so what should be the permalink for my sever site.
Thanks & Regards,

In reply to: getting blank page on loginHi All,
Thanks for your reply..I had solved this problem of blank page after login , but I am a bit confused about the solution.
What I did was changed the Home Page url and Blog Url in the General Settings of the localhost wordpress to my site domains link. And after that it accepted the login password that was for server admin.
Now the issue is when I edit my site using the server link the changes are reflected, the new pages that I add are shown on the header but the problem is when I click on the Page Title on the header to open the page it gives me Page Not Found Error. I don’t know if these pages are getting saved in localhost database or on server whereas it is taking admin password of admin.I hope I am clear enough to make you guys understand my problem.
Please Help.
Thanks & Regards

In reply to: where does new pages get savedThanks for the reply..
I have done all these steps..1. I took backup of my wordpress database then exported it to sever side wordpress database.
2. I also kept backup of my wordpress files and also transferred them to server via FireFTP.
3. I changed the wp-config of server side wordpress folder.
4. I changed permalinks.
5. I changed table wp-options site-url and home column to my server url link. But now when I click the link , it gives me a blank page.
And if I run it on localhost giving the database for the sever it opens the edit page for admin but if I click on any page to View it gives file not found error and If I click on Visit Site , it gives blank page.
I also tried adding a new page and then viewing it, but still got the same ‘File not found‘ error.
I can’t figure out where I am missing the point.
Please help regarding this problem.
Thanks & Regards,

In reply to: Problem on server uploadingyes that’s what I have done.. I have uploaded the wordpress folder’s contents in my domain. But it gives me blank page.

and I have wordpress contents in corporate folder.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Problem on server uploadingI have a doubt. That is whether I have to upload the WordPress folder as it is or htdocs folder? I have uploaded the contents of WordPress Folder which is inside htdocs. Does that create a problem?
