In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL PAYMENT CONFIRMATIONThank you for your reply…but I was referring to the CF7 PayPal & Stripe Addon plug in.
When someone submits the contact form, they are directed to PayPal. After filling out the PayPal info, they receive an email acknowledging that they used PayPal, and the amount is being charged to their card. No card info is included in that notification…I know because I did a number of $1 tests using my card and received the notification. It is THIS notification that I’m asking about.
Or is there some other kind of notification that I can receive from the PayPal & Stripe addon that lets me know the transaction is processed. In lieu of receiving something, I have to contact my Accounting Dept. to ask if the payment was posted for each submission.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Multiple Entries in Database of Same SubmissionIt will be difficult to deactivate plug ins and switch to a WP default theme because the website is not mine…it belongs to a non-profit. I will check with them.
In the interim, I have added myself to the Email Notification when someone submits a form. I will track whether the issue is the user is actually submitting multiple forms or not.
Is there any other condition other than possible conflict with themes or plug ins that could cause this situation?
I was thinking when the form contents go blank after clicking Submit, if the user thinks the submission failed and resubmits. I put a “Notice” above the Submit button explaining that the screen will refresh to a blank form and that the “Message Sent” is their indication the form was submitted.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Multiple Entries in Database of Same SubmissionIn response to the questions about other plug ins and theme:
Plug Ins installed are : Akismet, Classic Editor, Class Widgets, Contact Form 7, CF7 PayPal & Stripe Add On, Extensions for CF7, Limit Login Attempts, Really Simple SSL, Shortcodes Ultimate, Smart Slider 3, TablePress, and WordPress Importer.
The theme being used is…AIIX by Seosbg
The problem is intermittent…when I submit “Test” forms (when logged out of WordPress) everything works perfectly. But when others submit a form I see multiple entries in the database…sometimes about 20 seconds apart (a resubmission?) and sometimes at exactly the same time.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Multiple Entries in Database of Same SubmissionThe web site is bahiasailracing.com
The Contact form in question is “Grant Request”…found at Grant Request Form (bahiasailracing.com)
The multiple entries appear on HT Cf7 Extension ? — WordPress (bahiasailracing.com)
Also, although I deleted some “Test” entries in the database, they still show when I do a CSV Download. Is there any way to “permanently” delete these entries from the database?
Thanks for your help with this.

In reply to: [Post My CF7 Form] “PAGES” DISAPPEARS FROM DASHBOARDThank you for your response.
How would I enable WP_DEBUG? I am not very technical…so need some direction on how to do this. Is it something I can do from the wp-admin dashboard?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Post My CF7 Form] “PAGES” DISAPPEARS FROM DASHBOARDI have the Classic Editor plug in activated.
Nothing else that modifies the Admin dashboard.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] REDIRECT BLOCKEDThanks for your reply…
BUT…the issue of the redirect being blocked is caused by the browser. For example, see the article at https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
The same default setting appears on other browsers.
Since Contact 7 has a “Redirect” feature, I am wondering how it works without the computer user physically changing Site Permissions in their browser settings to “Allow Redirects”. How have other Contact 7 users made this feature work…given the browser default setting?
If the answer is that the contact has to change the Site Permissions to Allow Redirects, then the feature will not be of use to me. I simply don’t want to have to tell the user (some who are senior citizens) to change browser settings.
There are plug ins that say they will redirect a Contact 7 form to another webpage…for example, Redirection for Contact Form 7 By Qube One Ltd. or Contact Form 7 Redirects By Geek Code Lab.
Do you know if these plugins get around the browser issue?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] REDIRECT BLOCKEDI am using the AIIX theme.
If you are asking what Contact form 7 related plugins I have, they are:
- Contact Form 7
- Contact 7 PayPal & Stripe Add On (Scott Paterson).
- Extensions for CF7 (Haas Themes)
The problem appears to be the browser (I tried Firefox and Edge) is blocking the redirect from my website…bahiasailracing.com.
I am trying to redirect to a webpage on the site from the Contact Form on another page on the website. I’m using the Redirect settings on the Contact From 7 menu

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTI have been exchanging many emails with PayPal Tech Support.
His response this morning is…
“I did check the flow logging ID in the error page URL, and the error is just because your account is not integrated. I was unable to find any other issues with your PayPal account.
As I mentioned in my previous email, as this is a third party integration, the integration will be taken care by them. Account wise everything is rightly setup.
I would still recommend reaching out to the plugin author regarding this.”
So…I am again reaching out for help.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTScot..
I just deinstalled/deleted/reinstalled the plug in so I know I am at the most current rev…V2.1
I am running WordPress v6.4.3
I am still getting the error message that says the plugin could not find EXPRESS_CHECKOUT.
PayPal Tech Support says Express Checkout is enabled.
I saw a notice when I clicked on the Sandbox Mode that PayPal Standard is no longer available and was replaced by PayPal Commerce. Might that have something to do with this problem?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTPayPal tech support just confirmed that “Express Checkout” is enabled on the account. They asked that I clear cache/cookies and then disconnect/reconnect the plugin.
I got the same error message that Express Checkout not Found.
The “Redirect Method” is set to “1”…the text below the radio button says use Method 1 unless having a problem with the redirect. Should I try using Method 2? Or is that not related?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTWhile searching the internet for possible info about the issue, I ran across a plugin which says “Checkout for PayPal?plugin allows you to easily create PayPal smart payment buttons using PayPal’s checkout API (previously known as PayPal Express Checkout). It generates dynamic payment buttons using shortcodes that enable PayPal checkout on your WordPress site.”
I noticed the reference to “PayPal’s Checkout API (previously known as PayPal Express Checkout”. Does this provide a clue as to why the plugin can’t find Express Checkout…because it’s been replaced with PayPals’ Checkout API? I’m not sure what that means. I’m just trying to understand what’s going on so that I can get the plugin to work.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTThe following is the response from PayPal.
“Express checkout is an integration. It cannot be enabled. Kindly reach out to the Owner to ask what product do they need to get enabled. As this is a Third party integration, I am not too sure of the requirements.”
I sent the Tech Support guy the URL https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/ so that he could see what we are trying to integrate.
Am I the only one of the plugin customers who have reported this issue?
Have you been able to offer advice to PayPal on what to do for those who experience this issue?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7 - PayPal & Stripe Add-on] PAYPAL EXPRESS CHECKOUTIt seems to me that the Plugin is wanting to connect to Express Checkout, but there is no “Express Checkout” that I can find on the PayPal Support website.
I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the account and am getting the same error message…”Express Checkout not Found”.
Has nobody else in the community seen this problem?
