Hey @dpknauss!
What are these Instant Featured Images that you are talking about?
I’m going to have to test compatibility with the “Require Featured Image” plugin, but I can’t guarantee compatibility with every third party plugin out there. After you select an image, doesn’t it appear in the meta box?

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] Endless Spinning WheelHey guys,
I’ve been swamped, but just updated the plugin assets with new images and updated the readme to reflect the latest version of WordPress. This is a serious problem, and I’m thinking it might be something I should actually consider changing in the plugin itself.
I’m going to look into it and might publish a fix for this soon.

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] Template tag for including in templateHi @qars,
At the moment it’s currently not possible to do so.
The plugin was specifically designed to live within the admin menu, and I indent to keep it simple.Regards,

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] Drag & Drop Settings Menu Item Is MissingHi @soobahkdo!
Do you have any plugins that alter the admin menu, such as hiding certain items?

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] removing feature image borderHi,
If you’re talking about how the image is presented on your actual front-end, this has nothing to do with the plugin. This plugin sorely contains CSS for the WordPress admin, and does no changes to your theme what so ever.

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] WooCommerceHi,
There are currently no plans to do any specific WooCommerce implementations. I’m assuming WooCommerce does not utilize the built-in “Featured Image” functionality, otherwise this should work just as expected. Although, this plugin is only made to suit one image.
It would be possible to create something for WooCommerce, but unfortunately, I’m currently very short on time, so the little I can spare goes towards fixing bugs.

I noticed that this has been posted about in another thread as well. It’s been like this for well over a year without any issues, but it must of couse be something I’ve done in the code. I’ll look into it as fast as possible!

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] FEATURE: Add Meta Box Parameter FiltersHey Brian!
I’m sorry I haven’t replied back to you, to be honest I haven’t been on much recently due to loads of work. Your suggestion is a really good idea, and I’ll try to implement this as soon as possible. I’m currently putting most requests on my to-do list.

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] Request: Custom Column in WP List TableHello!
Thanks for your positive feedback, I am pleased to hear that the plugin is helping you save time.
I agree that this would be a nice feature, and it’s one I can easily see the need for. Let me put it on my to-do and evaluate the free time I currently have at my disposal. I might be interested in a collaboration, but let me get back to you on that one.

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] More than one featured imageHello!
In order to keep this plugin slim and functional I have decided not to implement any additional features as multiple featured images, sizing etc.
In order to fill a slider with images I recommend that you use the plugin Advanced Custom Fields together with the Gallery Fields Plugin. It’s not free, but definitely worth the money and saves you a lot of time a trouble. It’s truly a much better alternative.
In my opinion, a featured image should only be one, that’s why it’s called “Featured Image”, and there are much better ways of implementing multiple images, such as the solution above.
Best of luck to you!

In reply to: [Drag & Drop Featured Image] cannot drag/dropHi Kanick!
I just tried the plugin myself and there doesn’t seem to be any issues. I run it on several sites with tons of plugins. I’m guessing that this is some sort of conflict with another plugin, and I’d like to help you solve it.
What version of WordPress are you running?
Best regards,
Jonathan
