when my cache plugin refreshed, i notice wp-cache-config in ftp was changed. It usually modifies wp-cache-config.php in the plugin when the cache is refreshed(deletes the cache). I notice that a few times and it did that to two different sites I have and there both on different servers. So i doubt they both got hacked chances are unlikely. So I believe the WP super Cache plugin is screwing things up.

Its not hack when WP SUPER CACHE plugin refreshes it changes my permalinks

Does the same thing in the newer wordpress also

Thanks that did the trick. I didn’t have the header generated by wordpress on it I only had the items tags.

I took a few posts from the export xml file from my site which is wordpress version 2.5. I copied and pasted the post I needed for my other site which is version 2.7 and save as .xml file.

Then I click import on my wordpress site and click upload
and it shows “Invalid File
Please upload a valid WXR (WordPress eXtended RSS) export file.”

The file format is .xml

My file basically shows
<item>
<title>Blah Blah</title>
<link>https://example.com/?p=4037</link&gt;
<Blah Blah
</item>
I am trying to importing few items to the new wordpress version
