fixed, it was a different gallery plug in that was still on causing the behavior. thanks.

I also need to add one more comment: while you may argue plug-in is described correctly, due to inability to perform the standard WP Add Media function (gallery creation, no multiselect) it should HIGHLIGHTED so it is clear where a user will end up. I have wasted some time moving files around to see the problem, and than again to move them back.

If you wish your plug in rated, then above is to me a critical point you have missed out on, the transparency in its description that is.

As the original poster, I like the plug in, BUT, and that is big one, the lack of multiselect and gallery creation is a MAJOR drawback, to create a gallery one must go through unnecessary hoops to get it done, something that’s done in no time in the standard WP Add Media function. Worse though, when the standard Media function is opened, it now displays DOUBLE files, apparently from once looking at the whole, then for subfolders again. Some issue when the two talk to each other?

After creating subfolders and moving files around, which I thought was fantastic and intuitive, I wound up moving everything back due to the above MAJOR issues.
