In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Rumors of Support Are Greatly ExaggeratedHi @blindmonkey I’m sorry to hear that our team’s response to your needs didn’t meet your expectations. We take customer support extremely seriously, and to know that we’ve fallen short in that department is not great news to hear. We have taken a close look at this internally and have identified several ways that we can improve here going forward.
Specific to the issue you were experiencing we did release an updated version of the plugin today that ought to resolve the issue you saw. Can you confirm that is the case?
If we can do anything else to help please let us know.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Blank space from title to playerHI there, I took a look at the page on your site, and looks as though the
featured-thumb
class has amin-height: 207px !important;
value to it that is causing the blank space between the title area and the player. Updating or removing that ought to resolve the issue for you. This would be done in your theme file or in the Customizer->Additional CSS area of your WordPress dashboard.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] XML parse error: no head element foundOk, great to hear. If we can do anything else just let us know.
Hi @cleuenberg I’m going to mark this as resolved now since we pushed the plugin update on Friday, but if you need anything else here please let us know.
Hi @cleuenberg thanks for the heads up on this. This setting should only have affect on newly created Series (or in the case where users may not have saved their Feed Details since the creation of the Series). Can you confirm that since initially creating the Series you had saved the Feed Details page for that Series at least once? That’s the only edge case of this that I can think of after speaking with our engineering team. But we’re continuing to look into this in the meantime as well.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Podcast Feed Appearing TwiceHi there,
Thanks for the message and sharing a bit about the issue that you’re experiencing. In looking at https://makinthebacon.com/podcast it seems that this may be a custom page template or other variation of the default archive.php template that your theme would render. Did you create a custom page template for the Podcast post type? That would be the first place I’d look.
I do see that you have duplicates of the episodes on your site, and I’d suggest to remove those duplicate instances of the episodes. Are they all published in the Podcast -> All Episodes area of your dashboard?

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] RSS Feed: no items availableIn looking at your RSS feed now I’m not seeing any issues with it displaying or displaying episodes. Is there any new info from your end about steps you took to debug or identify the issue you saw previously?

In reply to: [NSFW] [Seriously Simple Podcasting] FAILED INSTALLATIONHi there,
All set at this point then? You can set the Permalink structure for your site in the Settings -> Permalinks area of your WP dashboard.
This should be resolved with v2.6.5 that we released earlier today. If we can do anything else just let us know.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] RSS Feed showing only blank pageHi @tobiasturk this issue has been resolved with v2.6.5 that we released earlier today. Please feel free to upgrade to that version and let us know how it looks for you.
Hi there,
Yes we’re working on a fix for this now to wrap that field in CDATA tags both in the Channel and the Item areas of the feed. This will be included in the upcoming v2.6.5 version of the plugin.
