I’m in shock that a security plugin author first reaction to a reply is “bring me proof”. I understood he was referring to managewp but what the heck?

The CORRECT line of action would be to say we are not aware, we are going to look into it if there’s anything. And after all there was.

The plugin is removed from WP repo, no word on that.

This has nothing to do with free support, free plugin and whatever is considered free. Someone brought an issue, that’s it. What I’m sure pulled us back in our chairs was the attitude.

And yes, I’m removing the plugin from all of 200+ sites I manage, you don’t have to state again “free yada yada”. I just went out of my way to comment here because it has been a long time since the plugin got removed and I was curious to see if there were any actions.

It was failing at your last step, when i clicked on the button that inserts the image — the imagem simply didn’t show up as supposed.

I don’t quite understand why it was falling, probably it was a plugin conflit thou i tested once with all them off. Anyway, what ever was it is fixed now thats all that matters , thanks for the replay ??

Yep, i changed those two lines that you’re refering. As the plugin just do one thing very well, i think down the line it won’t be necessary much of updating the code from you. Thous, it could be suficient only to include in the documentation how to change the behavior should one desire it without risking being overwrite in a future update that is not very likely. But if you want to add the option to a panel, more work for you that i won’t oppose ??

For out of curisity, i asked a few friends of mine what’s their perception in terms of site navigation when they see a left arrow and a right arrow. All said left to go back, right to go forward, and they didn’t understood how that could be different for someone else. Like i said, it is maybe a cultural difference from our countries ??

“feature” indeed. Great, great fix. Just wanted to say thanks you!!

That error occoured to me and it’s fairly simple to solve. Just enter your’s Engage API and everything will be working. It’s not just activating the two plugins (simple modal login and engage), engage has to have an valid api entered.

mine neither, and i tried in 3 different websites. no green zone. And after i activate the plugin, the insert media button of wordpress stops working too, not appearing the pop-up, but reloading a new page just with the uploader box of wordpress.

I went to the twitter and for what i saw in the “developer” section, they only have the white logo. Kinda lame, people like me who have white sidebars and want to create an effect of transparency get stuck with a weirdo logo who barly can be seen.
oh weel maybe they’ll change that in the future.

Just add to your wp-config.php the DEFINE line in the instructions of the plugin – remove the DROPBOX word ??

Very nice plugin, finally the wordpress dashboard is a little less geek, which is wonderfull when we’re making sites for clients.

Meanwhile, today i was setting up another website when i remember to search the plugin repository to see if anyone had come up with another plugin. And seems like positive: use Simple Local Avatars instead, just activated and it’s working ??

I just found out that your plugin doesn’t work when Custom Contact Forms plugin is active (i’m using WP 3.0.3).
Nothing too much, just sharing the found.-

Requires WordPress Version: 3.0 or higher

That’s the error i am getting after installing this plugin and put the widget on my sidebar. Like Gaplauche, every thing bellow the widget and the other side bar as well, is gone.

Well, i just tested with WPMU 2.9.2 and it’s working to me. Dunno for WP3.0
