In reply to: [Team Rosters] Plugin Breaks Another Plugin's Featured Image – It's BackHey Mark,
The Team answered back that they are seeing the same result, meaning it seems to be working as expected.
I / We are not Gold Support members. It’s a HS Football Team, so they’re non-profit. I actually am not part of the team, but I help as a favor for a friend when they need it with email or site updates etc. (I have a good deal of dev experience, and I am an MCSE by trade) Your plugin was one of the first I used for them, and one of the rare occasions I have ever given a plugin a 5 star rating.
I did just donate to you, on their behalf. Thanks for your work in solving this man.

In reply to: [Team Rosters] Plugin Breaks Another Plugin's Featured Image – It's BackHey Mark,
First, thanks for all you do. Seriously mean that.
OK, So I downloaded the Development Version(svn), but in WP it does still show as 4.0.1. The code does look changed however and I like the look of your solution. I deleted the old plugin folder (after a backup to save my edited version) and uploaded the test version. As best as I can tell all is working OK. I have asked the people that really use the site to test it too and report back.
If I hear anything from them I will post back here. I am assuming the plugin will update as needed still even though the Dev ver is installed, so I have a backup of my fix just in case your solution isn’t included in the next version.
Thanks Mark!

In reply to: [Team Rosters] Plugin Breaks Another Plugin's Featured Image – It's BackSure thing Mark. Whatever helps you. When you mention the Dev Trunk I assume you me the current Development Version(svn) that is listed under Other Versions?
Do you want me to replace the whole the plugin folder or just the mstw-team-rosters.php file?
UPDATE: Never mind. I am just swapping the whole folder. I will let you know the results.

Any thoughts on this issue? I am concerned about updates breaking it again.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Simple Staff List] Cannot Set featured imageSame here. I am able to open the featured image dialog, upload or choose an image, and click “Set Featured Image”, but then nothing shows up.
This happened once before to me, and the symptoms are the same. The solution this time was the same as last time too: here is the original thread and the thread I posted for the other plugin dev today. Bottom line is to check for other plugins that enable the featured image in their plugin. If you have one that does it may be a conflict.

@CoffeeMick,
No fix on my end yet. I’m on WP 3.6, and BackWPup version 3.0.13. I thought I had solved the issue after changing the compression type, but it still fails after 1 run. This issue seems so common, the Dev not chiming in wrong. I realize this is free, and there is a paid Pro version, but seriously, if you release a free version that has such issues at least address it. I might of paid if the Dev was responsive, as I often do to show support for good devs doing strong work. In fact I love paying for good products, but the “lite” versions are supposed to convince me to buy. It’s not like this problem is a “feature” you only get in the pro version, it’s the basic required operation. How the hell do I know the paid version actually works. The complete lack of interaction makes me not want to buy, but I hope the Dev reads this and decides to help. Un-likely.

Hey CoffeMick,
I’ve found a number of threads about this, and have seen the 19070 & 1969 dates various times. I realize there is a pro version that includes support, but this seems to be happening to enough people I wish the Dev would chime in. I looked through code to find any DATE calls he was doing and nothing jumped out at me. Might have to look deeper.

In reply to: [Plugin: Backwpup] Backwpup next run schedule resetting to December 31, 1969Yeah, mine is actually set as: Tar GZip. Frustrating. Gonna have to find an alternative I guess.

In reply to: [Plugin: Backwpup] Backwpup next run schedule resetting to December 31, 1969WinstonFord,
Same here, every run, regardless of the trigger being manual or not, it resets to 1969. Mine has never run on schedule in fact. Closest I have come to identifying the issues is that understand what the date means. Here is a basic example of the issue in generic PHP terms:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2224097/prevent-php-date-from-defaulting-to-12-31-1969
But how that relates here I am not sure yet.
I have the same specs, WP 3.5.2, and BackWPup 3.0.12. I found the post below, that is a generic discussion of PHP dates reseting to December 31, 1969, but while I understand that issue, I am unaware of where in the plugin code that could be an issue.

In reply to: [Plugin: Backwpup] Backwpup next run schedule resetting to December 31, 1969Did either of you ever find a fix for this? Same issue.
Could anyone suggest what might cause this? I’ve checked all I can think of with no solution. Googling it shows its not just me, since I found other related post. Please?
I really hope someone answers this post soon. I have no backups unless I manually run them because every time they run they reset to December 31, 1969 at 5:00.
Same fix for me. Select the Schefule Tab and save. But then as a test I manually started and cancelled a job and it reset. Strange.

In reply to: [Wordbooker] Error with All-in-One Event CalendarThanks again.
I look forward to 2.2, and as long as the setting is not to Post automatically the All-In-One Diagnostic Message errors are gone.
I will contact the host about that.
