In reply to: [Allegiant] Featured Image Sizing Problem on Blog PageThanks for the reply. But your answer doesn’t really make sense.
I think there is a bug in the theme irrespective of free vs. paid. Or at least one you should not have to pay for in order to fix.
Here is the core issue. You say featured images should be 600×400. However, on both the Blog page and the post page, at maximum browser width, you scale the image to almost 779 wide. Enlarging the image this way decreases the resolution of the image and makes it looks fuzzy. You should not scale the image larger than the native image size. So, if the spec says featured images should be 600 x 400, your responsive design should not size them larger than the native image size.
If your responsive design max left column size requires an image of 779 to fill it, then your featured image recommendation should be 779 wide.
It’s fine to decrease the image size from its native size but not to enlarge it.
Please advise.
I’ve since discovered that the native WordPress playlist feature will work just fine for my purposes, so this is no longer an issue.
OK, great – thanks. I did confirm on my sandbox that Wordfence installs once wp-miniaudioplayer is disabled. I’ll consider that option.
I suspected as much. I exported my production site to a sandbox instance and found the incompatible plugin via process of elimination.

I can alert that plugin author, but is there evidence suggesting that the issue is with their plugin vs. Wordfence?
