Thanks for your hard work , and the problem in Chinese is solved ,it is showed correctly now.

And there are one bug and one question for you.
Bug:
the names submit by visitors(not register and login) or registerusers can be seen without moderation,

and in the admin cp ,you can see there is “no” for [Published].

problem:
Can’t be “startswith”ed or matched by Chinese chractor, only in English letters of an alphabet (a,b,c,d …).
I thinks it’s hard problem for you who even dont know chinese,and other languange which isn’t written by alphabet will meet this problem too , such as korean/japanese language.

So, the easy way for me is to write an alphabet(Pinyin) or english word in front of the names. ( Pinyin is the method for converting Chinese characters into alphabet.)

the situation is this :
1,the wordpress which i use is Chinese version(https://cn.www.ads-software.com/),
2,and installed your “Name Directory” ,when i enter a Chinese word in your plugin,it cant be showed as normal , such as “你好”, but messy code “????” stands for “你好”
3,but other plugins is good for Chinese.

I think it’s a database problem , such as “NAMES ,character,Encoding..” problem, the Chinses word cant be showed as normal , just “????”.

Now, I have to choose other plugin.

As I know,the plugin can be used as a classifield function ,and many ppl like to build classifield website or a knowledge base.
I think it’s a good plugin, and it would be used by more ppl ,especially by the large mumber user…. Chinese .

So , maybe you can make it support Chinese.
