    Thank you for the reply.

However even though it has been reported some users are stating that there might be an incorrect call to the API

    Quote: https://community.cloudflare.com/t/turnstile-ready-firing-twice/690171/16

This might be why so many plugins are effected. Maybe they have updated their API integration and its effecting developers that rely on a different call back method.

I can change it for now for the reCAPTCHA but would rather have Cloudflare’s Turnstile implemented.

Keep in mind. This was queried 11 days ago with no resolution. Because users are flagging differences in how its implemented: https://community.cloudflare.com/t/turnstile-ready-firing-twice/690171/15 makes me wonder its a third party issue and not Cloudflare’s per say. Yes they need to investigate why this is happening but all I can see is them coming back with “its an API implementation issue”.

Please keep me posted if you find a resolution. I would reach out as a developer to them to see if my theory is correct.

    Regards

Edit ignore this message. I realised it was a custom WP admin colour option a put in place.

My new message was for a CSS issue I noticed. This is my fault and miss understood the error at the time

    Sorry

    Hi @hjogiupdraftplus,

Thank you for getting back to me. I figured it out in the end.

I had a custom Ajax call that was looping through all my custom tables I have and updating the ‘td’ in the admin. Without realising it was effecting every table that other plugins might have setup.

I got around this by targeting the td class for that table and everything now works. Same for other plugins I was having issue with.

Thank you though, as you mentioned Ajax and it just twigged in my head that my custom call was the cause.

    Hi Tobias,

Thank you for getting back to me.

In regards to the image. Yes I am escaping the html markup in place of the image but this doesn’t effect the table cell being editable.

For example. If I highlight the table where the image thumbnail is shown and press delete it removes it. If I undo the changes the html markup returns and I can edit this – which then returns the image on the jQuery request. Something I need to improve on as it takes a few seconds to call the image. Possibly longer.

Or if I delete the image and left click ‘Insert image’ I can return the image as html until I save the table.

This is not a resolution to the issue but more a visual perspective. When my customer returns to the table, they will see the thumbnail image and now what they originally used.

    Hi Tobias,

Thank you for getting back to me on this. Would definitely welcome this as a core feature. Look forward to seeing this implemented.

Apologies for using the word ‘Hack’. Its not a nice word really. I should have used ‘Improvement’ as I didn’t hack any of your code when I think about it :/.

    Edit:

I have just seen this option under ‘Screen Options’ when viewing the table. Please ignore my issue.

Works as expected and should be good enough for the client.

    Sorry for any confusion.

    H Shameem,

I have tried your methods you suggested. Live site is still showing update message, production site is not. The difference with both is I updated the plugin manually and the database when it asked me, rather then being forced (which seems to be the case on my live).

I will disable the live one, rename the plugin folder and download the previous version to WooCommerce manually from WP repository and install it. then update it manually like I did to the production (offline) site.

Both my live and local are identical so there is not conflict of interest.

Just to add, I have the same issue across all sites using 2FA. You cannot reset it or change setting when on a user profile.

This is what I get even though its active: https://tinyurl.com/yrs5h9sv

Just to add – When you click on the “Configure” button it takes me back to my WP Dashboard, no setup. This happens on all sites.

You might need to make this more clear for those that have upgraded from iThemes to Solid Security and not aware of this change. I will follow your suggestions above to see if this resolves my issue on one site that causes a serve error when using the plugin.

EDIT: ok I have used the code: define ( ‘SOLID_SECURITY_LEGACY_2FA_UI’, true); to get the old one back and its working again. Not ideal but at least it’s working.

Definitely a broken feature and needs investigating if the button keeps taking me to WP Dashboard when clicked.

    Hi Mia,

Not sure why its here when my 404 error log is saying wp-content/plugins/filester/includes/File_manager/lib/themes/Default/img/arrows-active.png

its trying to look in the themes/Default folder.

Do I need to copy and paste it to remove this error, or should I download the plugin manually and update again to see if its resolves my 404 error.

    Hi Mia,

I have checked your screenshot and compared it to mine when inspecting.

This is what I see: https://tinyurl.com/ywwchok8

I am missing the img folder and the png image itself.

I also noticed the css rule isn’t applied when inspecting this elements. The screenshot is taken from the same place but I am not seeing the .ui-state-active css rule.

So both the folder and css rule is missing. All I did is update the plugin, not sure if there was an issue on the update, or if I need to manually download it and override what is already there to see if it add’s these back in.

    Please advise.

    Regards

    Darren

    Hi alina98,

Its been a month now since you last told me about fixing the plugin. I haven’t seen an update for the plugin in this time. Where are you at with all the fixes required? Just worried you are leaving hundreds, possibly thousands of peoples sites open to attacks for a simple fix.

These kind of plugins shouldn’t be ignored when security is important.

Please do update when you can.

    Thanks ??

    Hi Kev,

Thank you for getting back to me. I have leased this with the theme/plugin developer that this effects and they have disregarded that its an issue and I should ignore any warning from this plugin.

Should I worry about this? What are the security issues if they don’t update their API?

I cannot see anything wrong at the moment but surely when you have an error from a plugin you purely rely on you would have thought they would update this to make sure everything works as expected.

What would be the worse case if issue did arise?

Sorry for all the questions. Just need to make sure they are on the same page and take my findings seriously. More so as I paid for their services and feel its got issues that are being ignored.

    Thanks

Ok so I have updated to the latest version and cleared all caching plugins, CDN’s and only one page is now effected “Site Scans”.

Edit. I spoke to soon. As soon as I flush my CDN cache the pages I mentioned originally are now blank.

What I did see is they was loading very slow on some tabs. It was like the settings had a delay.

Looking at search console in WP Admin I get this error only on these options when chosen under your plugin:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘settings’)
    at settings.js:1:60930
    at 7980 (settings.js:1:60939)
    at i (runtime.js:1:147)

    at settings.js:1:62235
    at r (runtime.js:1:2923)

These are from your plugin – Example: at settings.js:1:60930 = https://www.ufindus.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/dist/user-groups/settings.js

    Hi chandelierrr,

Ok I have done what you said and flushed any cache plugins I have, or CDN’s in place and everything came back on the version I reverted back to. I will try and update again and see if what you suggest resolves it.

Oddly enough I did this before when I updated to the latest version. Nothing has changed since. I will report back with my results.

    Thanks
