I am another user who cant see the ‘Mute’ button for iThemes free. All SSL certificates are valid, no browser plugins are blocking anything related to the sites yet I am getting the nag across all sites.
I have disabled the ‘Site Check’ feature as its “broken” in the FREE version. Also I noticed that you cant clear your log so after a while your database will be clogged up. Not a good start.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] Can i use this with Docket Cache plugin?Hi Saumya,
Thank you for the quick response. I will keep an eye out on how it functions. The plugin is an object cache but not in the similar way to Memcached etc. Reading up it stores the data in a plain PHP file to allow for WordPress to access this much quicker.
I don’t think its a static page caching plugin as I had it setup with WPRocket before coming across your plugin.
Please do have a read at the documentation of the plugin and let me know what your thoughts are and if it is something that isn’t required. It could be you add it to your compatibility list and recommend it for those on a shared platform.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce update error logHi Amir A,
Thank you for the reply. I haven’t had the error since and after clearing the logs in WooCommerce it hasn’t come back. It could have been a caching issue and after clearing this it resolved the error above.
All plugins are up to date. Site is on PHP 8, latest version of WordPress 6.1.1 (which does flag as not yet been tested on in WordPress repository).
I can’t see anything else that could have been the cause of the error. Looking at Woo’s changelog, there had been some major changes to settings UI’s and additional options added. Maybe the database was still pointing to old settings and flagged this as an error base don the PHP warning.
Who knows. I will keep an eye on this and report back if I see the error re-appear for any known reason.

In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] WPRocket warning messageThank you for the reply.
Is this the same when asking the caching plugin not to cache a specific page that is used for the 403 message?
I have Norton VPN and changed the Region to a country I am blocking. Example would be Belgium.
The only page I noticed that it didn’t block is the home page. All other pages are blocked. Not the answer to the issue but the only way I could get the home page from not being accessible is by asking WPRocket “Not to cache this page” when editing it through the admin.
I need to do some investigation to why the plugin is blocking individual pages when cached but not the home page of the website.
Any ideas are welcome.
ThanksHi hjogiupdraftplus,
Thank you for testing this out for me.
It seems to be working now. It could have been a caching issue. The only thing that looks different to the screenshots you show me is the warning message.
I was overriding it the with the following function below:
function login_error_override() { return 'You are being watched'; } add_filter('login_errors', 'login_error_override');
If I remove this I get the error message I see in your screenshots about ‘Account Pending’.
Just a shame I cant target WordPress generic error login message, and keep Woo’s separate. If I find a solution I will share as it might be something you can add to the plugins functions.
Thanks again for the help on this.

In reply to: [Maspik - Advanced Spam Protection] Add New Country to Whitelist/BlockedHi Yonifre,
Noticed you have done an update to the plugin. Nice to see added features and an Option section.
One thing I did notice is a grammar/spelling error – “Uncheckd to desactive” should be “Uncheck to deactivate”
Also did you add the IM to the country code? I need to whitelist Isle of Man if possible :).
Thanks and keep up the amazing work.
Hi Shivamtyagi,
Thank you for getting back to me. It happens with all images except the one(s) that seems to work when setup through the plugin itself.
The image I use in the Default Image Source (Set in social networks) is sourced from the same folder structure as the other images and all of them are at a size that are well below 400kb and suitable for all social media platforms.
What is odd is it works when I choose the Default Image Source (Set in social networks) on that post but not when I choose any of the other options.
I can’t see how it would be a firewall issue as I can see the Default Image Source when sharing with google. I will check and rule it out but 100% confident it isn’t this.
Other tests…

As before I know it isn’t a Firewall issue but something to do with the Plugin and probably how it works with WP Bakery. I can’t see what else it could be as it effects all WordPress Pages and Posts.
Kind Regards

In reply to: [Maspik - Advanced Spam Protection] Looks promisingHi Yonifre,
Loving the new update. Nice to see that you are adding new form builder support and additional tools.
Please do keep adding. One plugin I would like to see support for is Piotnet Forms. Rally good form generator and a very small team behind it. I will definitely be recommending your plugin to others on a forum I follow and hopefully increase your install base.
It has currently saved me so far with some dodgy spam attempts. If I see a feature that is worth trying I will definitely share my thoughts. Maybe the forum will help bring support to the table as well.
Thank you for getting back to me.
Please do let me know when you have this implemented and I will test it out.
I would like to know if this is an issue with the AIOS plugin only? I have deactivated the “Block Fake Googlebots” feature until you come back with an answer as I use the plugin mentioned.
Is there a list of SEO plugins this feature works well with?
Thanks

In reply to: [Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection] Piotnet Forms PluginHi Stephane,
Thank you for getting back to me. I have gone onto their Trello page and upvoted for this feature to be added.
Also thank you for reaching out to them. Hopefully, they see that it’s a request that shouldn’t be missed.

In reply to: [Maspik - Advanced Spam Protection] Can’t remove ‘Eric Jones’Thank you for your reply. iI will try this now.
Great plugin btw and definitely has potential.
Have you any plans to support other forms? i.e Gravity Forms, Piotnet Forms etc.
These are really powerful forms and it would be daft not to expand on your plugin. that way you could launch a pro version with these on at a cost. I would be up for purchasing it to help with the idea of the forms it can support. Especially if it was for Piotnet Forms.
Thanks again for the support.

I agree one star is a little ignorant of me. Because you have come back to me with an answer I will up it without doubt that is more respective to your service.
Just to add to the above issue with the ‘Hide backend’ feature. On my staging site I couldn’t find the path that existed on the live version. If you cant find my example altogether then add this after the trailing slash on your URL:
[your domain url]/wp-admin/admin.php?page=itsec&path=%2Fsettings%2Fconfigure%2Fadvanced%2Fhide-backend
This will give you the option to activate or amend this feature that once was easily available.
Developers, please look at your code and amend the UI to make it easier to find this feature. It’s listed on the FREE version of your plugin and shouldn’t be hidden.
also I am getting 500 errors which seems to relate to a memory leak. It goes away if I do the following;
Disable your plugin, or disable a few other plugins that could be conflicting. I will do some further research to which one is the cause. I never had any issues prior to updating to the latest version of your plugin.
