In reply to: [Pinbin] Allow more posts on homepage? No no code necessary. in wp-admin, under settings on the left, there is infinite-scroll settings. Go there, make sure ‘#post-area’ is in the Content Selector field. then scroll all the way down and there is a Behavior field that you set to ‘Masonry/Isotope’.

In reply to: [Pinbin] Allow more posts on homepage? There is pinpress theme, which seems like a better fit for infinite scroll plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/pinpress
Did you make some settings changes?
No.
However, I did a manual reinstall of wordpress over the weekend, which has worked. I was running an cpanel application install previously, which may have cause this issue.
Thanks again
Thank you for your response Ron.
I did that, mentioned above, and also overwrote my backup of the plugin from before I initiated this process, and I still get an eternal redirect.

In reply to: php in exceprtsnobody? can you imagine the possibilities if php could run in exceprts? just imagine:
I’m trying to create an open source solution for my affiliate site where affiliates can put their ID in the header or sidebar and that id could be generated into a link displayed in the excerpt. People charge big bucks for applications that do that and I am *this* close to doing something open source IF I COULD JUST RUN PHP IN THE EXCERPTS!!!

In reply to: WP 3.0 running slow since upgradeThe wp-admin admin function is slow too, so it isn’t the theme (plus I tried the default theme, same problem). I also followed the other troubleshooting steps and haven’t isolated the issue.
I also noticed I get 500 errors when posting or previewing pages.

In reply to: why does my admin page look like this…well, if it helps Ipstenu (to return the favor, you’ve been a big help, thx), that’s what started this whole ordeal for me. I got an email from godaddy about a WP security issue, urging me to upgrade to 2.9.2, and that’s where all my trouble started.

In reply to: 2.9.2 site hackedI had an idea: the malicious file in my directory was “php.ini”–thank you sucuri! I deleted it and things went back to normal. But it keeps coming back. What I am trying now is to edit the file, delete all the code, and then I made php.ini a non-writable, non-executable file.

In reply to: why does my admin page look like this…I have discovered I have also been hacked. I am downgrading from 2.9.2 back to the previous version that I had no problems with.
