on version 40.0.2214.115 it’s working

you can add :
<a class="alternative-links-imagemap" data-key="area-297" data-type="tooltip" data-parent="imgmap-284-1">THE name of your area or whatever...</a>
now just edit your layout page and don’t forget to change the data-key.

the option “highlight all area” is highlighting all areas at the same time so there is no problem on your site.
To have no highlight at all you should take a look at the js file. try to modify the fade time and highlight time to 0. It may work. i’ll take a look if you don’t find any working solution.

hi! you can eventually use the tooltip to show some information on mouseover. would it be a reasonable option?

euh i tried on IE11 and it works fine…. strange :/

for the permissions you might have to go on your ftp and modify the permissions of the folder and their subfolder of “imagemapper”

tried on mobile and there is no problem as reported …. :/
also tried on IE ( not IE9 but IE11) and it’s also working. i’ll try with IE9 later.

i didn’t find the line that call the link. i don’t think it’s that hard to open the link in a new tab. If you know the line that call the link let me know it ??

nope there is still a problem. explanation: on laptop the event is onMouseover, but on mobile devices there is no such event as far as i know. if you have the equivalent event for mobile devices it “pretty easy”

Okay here it is! I made a little mistake it not a php file. You have to go in the imagemapper_script.js
On line 23 you can change the fade duration and on line 82 just modify the “500” with 5000 for exemple.

Yep it is, but you have to modify it yourself in a php file. Don t remember which one. I’ll tell you later as soon as i have my laptop with me
