I opened it 2 months ago and never got answered :/
More or less the same issue but just so you guys know how long answers can be… if any…

But since it wasn’t working, I removed the dropdown list from our contact page.
Finally a useful answer! Thank you so much @i_robert, I’d put you a thumbs up if I could!
I have another plugin that hides the classic wp-login.php page and was not added to the lightstart default authorized pages. This resulted in me not being able to log in.
I’ve been a little less drastic than you but inspired from it. Here are my steps:
– log in the FTP server
– Go to the Lightstart directory
>> wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode
– Change the lightstart directory
>> wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode2
– Since the directory name has been changed, the plugin can’t load now so the website is off the maintenance mode.
– log in to the website and go to the admin panel
– Rename the directory back to the normal name
>> wp-content/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode
– Reload admin and go to the lightstart settings to change what you need to change (for me adding the extra path to authroize). Then all set and fixed.

Hello, you did not answer my very specific question: where in database or server files is the option to activate/deactivate the maintenance mode inside the plugin? It must be saved somewhere. Please tell me where.
I do not understand why the hosting provider would have anything to do with this. They’re here to provide hosting, which they do, not to assist with plugin misusage within WordPress.
thank you for your help.
