In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Protect content only with reCAPTCHAHi @miladk,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
At the moment, we have Passwordless Authentication extension (along with PPWP Pro plugin) that can help you protect your content with reCAPTCHA only.
Users just need to verify reCAPTCHA to access your protected content without entering passwords. So far, we’ve supported this function for whole (individual) page protection, not for partial and sitewide ones.
Are you open to protecting your whole pages, @miladk?
May I know why you want to verify access by reCAPTCHA only, by the way?
You might want to send these details to our support email – hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that our team can support you faster.
Hi @alikin,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Yes, you’ve come to the right place. Our PPWP plugins are what you’re looking for.
You can password-protect certain parts of your pages with our PCP shortcode or Section Protection.
With our PPWP Pro version, you can also unlock multiple protected sections at once.
Let us know if it works for you or if you have any other questions.
You might also want to drop us an email at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that our team can support you faster, @alikin.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Plugin stopped workingHi Caitie,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Don’t worry. We’ve always got your back.
Our team was able to reproduce the issue on our end and has managed to figure out a workaround for it.
Could you please?drop?us?an?email?at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com?so that we can update you on this faster & easier, @caitie?
Hi @bellejoshy,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I totally understand what you mean. That said, to require passwords on each page reload, the best solution is to set a short password cookie expiration time, e.g. 5 seconds.
May we know which issues you’ve got with cookie expiration time so far and why you don’t want to change the cookie expiration time, please?
You might also want to?drop?us?an?email?at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com?for faster response from our team, @bellejoshy.
Hi @duddiesalome,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We hope you’ve had a great weekend.
Yes, it looks possible with some custom CSS.
Could you please provide us with a sample protected page URL and a password to check?
You might want to send these details to our support email – hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that our team can support you faster.
Hi Sharron,
If so, we’d recommend you to:
- Re-install our PPWP Lite (Free) plugin on your site.
- Restore default WordPress passwords using our function.
- Deactivate our PPWP Lite plugin if you’d like to.
Anyway, do you mind sharing with us which parts of our PPWP Lite didn’t work for you so that we can help?
Actually, our PPWP plugins provide you with a lot of advanced features such as creating unlimited passwords per content.
You might also want to drop us an email at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com for faster response from our team, @sharrondenice.
Hi @sharrondenice,
First of all, we’re really sorry for any inconvenience caused when using our plugin.
Technically, we have to migrate your default WordPress passwords to our system for our protection to work properly.
For example, WordPress only allows you to set 1 password while our plugin allows unlimited passwords per content.
We can’t use 1 password from WordPress data and the rest from ours. That’s why converting passwords is necessary.
For better user experience, we’ll run the migration processes in the background so that you don’t have to do so manually.?
The password migration proccess is explained in our documentation.
You can absolutely back up & restore WordPress default password protection after deactivating our PPWP plugins.
To do that, simply press “Restore Now” button under the Advance tab on PPWP settings page.
Please let us know if you have any other questions in the comment below or simply drop us an email at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com for faster response from our team, @sharrondenice.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Same psw on several pagesHi John,
Happy New Year. May the new year bless you with health, wealth, and happiness.
Just to clarify, in our PPWP Lite (Free) version, Master passwords can unlock posts only.
To unlock all protected pages on your site at once, you’ll need our PPWP Pro version.
All you need to do are:
- Protected pages with our plugins as normal.
- Generate Master passwords to unlock all protected pages at once. You don’t need to unlock pages separately.
Let us know if it works for you.
You might also want to drop us an email at hello(at)preventdirectaccess.com so that our team can support you faster, @dsl225.

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] buggy, some features don’t workHi @trentone,
Thanks for your feedback.
It looks like you’re using PPWP Lite (Free) version, aren’t you?
Just to clarify, our PPWP Lite (Free) version does provide you with a lot of features such as unlimited passwords per content, Master passwords, form customization, and sitewide protection.
You’ll need the PPWP Pro version for advanced features like whitelisting user roles. That’s possibly why…
Anyway, to assist you better, do you mind sharing with us what you want to achieve with our plugins, e.g. your use case, in more detail?
Which specific features are you interested in, by the way?

In reply to: [PPWP - Password Protect Pages] Same psw on several pagesHi John,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
If you protect 10 single pages with the same password, unlocking one of them doesn’t unlock others.
To unlock 10 protected pages at once, we have different solutions such as Parent-child protection and Master passwords.
To assist you better, may we know if you want to:
- unlock all protected pages on your site with the same password or,
- unlock different groups of pages with different passwords?
