I’ve created an internal feature request for this. Unfortunately, we don’t have a timeline for an update, but I’ll ensure to notify you as soon as we have one.

Meanwhile, you can continue using your approach. Alternatively, could you confirm which SEO plugin you’re using? All in One SEO comes with an inbuilt TOC block that you can use on the page content along with your existing TOC Plus block in the Sidebar.

I’m Prabhat from the All in One SEO team. We’ve recently adopted the Table of Content Plus plugin after the original owner indicated he no longer had the bandwidth to maintain it.

Unfortunately, TOC+ renders the TOC (short code) just once on a page. This is also a widely accepted practice.

However, could you share the URL where you’ve added the TOC and explain what exactly you want to achieve differently in Desktop vs Mobile version, as we might be able to help you with that?

Adding to my last reply, although the short code doesn’t render in the Sidebar, depending on how you’ve implemented the sidebar, you may use our TOC+ widget to render the TOC.

This widget can be accessed under WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets. Here’s a screenshot for a quick reference –

I tested TOC+ with MemberPress active, but was unable to replicate the issue. Could you please confirm what exactly happens on your end when TOC+ is active? Do posts keep on loading or an error is shown?

Could you please share some more details and a screenshot or a screen recording of the issue so I can start my investigation?

You may use a tool like Snipboard (https://snipboard.io/) or Loom (https://www.loom.com/screen-recorder) to create & share the screenshots/screen recordings.

Meanwhile, would you be able to use the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/) to debug possible conflicts by following the steps below?

1. Go to?Plugins > Add New?and install and activate the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin.
2. Go to?Plugins > Installed Plugins?and click on?Troubleshoot?below the?Table of Content Plus?plugin. This will temporarily disable all other plugins and switch to the default WordPress theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
3. Check if you’re able to reproduce the problem.
4. If not, activate your theme and check again.
5. If you’re still unable to reproduce the issue, activate the plugins one by one and simultaneously check if the issue occurs.
6. Once you’re done troubleshooting, deactivate and delete the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin.

If the issue persists, please share the details requested above, and I’d be more than happy to investigate further.
