thank you for your reply, I did it by creating a group-type field template ass you people have created text-type and others type and I have also added a url-type and it is done.

if switching to default theme will solve the problem, that will mean this plugin and my theme listable are not compatible to each other ? but what I should do if I need to use both, what may be the cause, are you having some thoughts on it ? please let know, may be I will be able to solve this issue and both will be compatible to each other and that will be great . and yes there error is not an UI error.

As I had mentioned in my first reply there is no error in console.

it is not showing any error( including console ), when I select the featured image and click the set featured image button, it should set the featured image which it is not doing .

***another thing, I would like to disable the popup that is coming for confirmation when I am leaving edit page.

I think I can do it with ‘dwqa_after_single_question’ hook, I am trying to achieve it with out overriding thee template, but please let me know if it is possible to override the page.php only for single-question page.

plugin single question page is not using single.php what I was expecting so it can not be overridden by single-dw-question.php template. instead it is using page.php !!!! why I have no idea, but I would like to know why it is so ? and I am already searching where it is specified, so please let me know how I can override it with my child theme template.
I want to add sidebar to it.

Note: I am already using my single-question.php, content-single-question.php and content-single-answer.php from my plugin extension.

Update: May be it is because inside page.php you are using single-question.php .then I would like to override page.php with question.php in my child theme .

your code gives me warning Warning: Missing argument 2 for <function name>

I tried it and get error function was unable to get second argument, I will try it again and let you know.

And please check it, I think $name should match “answers” and not “answer.php”, here DWQA_DIR . ‘templates/’.$name.’.php’ you can notice the name is with out file extension .
