With the older version I was using the plugin called “Custom Sender For Email Before Download” https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-sender-for-email-before-download/

But that plugin does not seem to work with the new release.

To reclarify, The from email is being set as well as the subject of the mail. But the mail title just shows “WordPress”. That needs to be editable.

I got it working using the following plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/list-categories/

which does the same thing you said.

Another issue that I am facing is this. I have a lot of sub categories. So I want to just list a few and have a more button when the user clicks on it, it will take him to a page where all categories are listed.

Is there a way to limit the result that comes back?

Would have loved to see that. That would make this plugin compete with what other companies offer as a service.

hey @dtynan , I tried the filter, and It works for incomming emails but not outgoing ones.

Let me elaborate the issue to shed some light.
There are actually three emails at play here.

The first email that gets send to the user which has the download conent link.
The second email is the one that I get form contact form 7 which is in my inbox.
The third email is the second email as a send item.

UPDATE:
While typing this reply I found that I have the from field in contact form 7 as my gmail address.

I think that might be the reason for this. I did it so that when any one receives my email the from field should be my email rather than [email protected]

Is there any way I can clear up my outgoing mail. I have the imcoming mail organised with filters.

I am having the same issue. Rather than getting the actual file I am getting getting a file called “download.php”

Turning off the Curl works But What if I want to expire the link using the cURL option.

Yes I agree the import/export feature is not available

Awesome..

One more thing that just came to me is that the option to show specific blocks on blocked/allowed regions based on users location.

That would make the plugin a must achieve really targeted audience.

yeah thanks..i figured it out.
The social widget has been moved form the theme customizer to being as menu so now the social links can be configured from the appearance > menu section
