Thank you, duly noted & understood. I do have a backup previously taken but I guess i will have another one taken so as to have the latest one.
Thank you both again.Thank you guys for your inputs. Well in my case what I mean by the main/primary administrator is the one who owns the website, & the one who pays the bills for both domain & hosting – so unless I decide to pull the plug that situation is out of question- also, I have complete access to Cpanel (so I have access to the database) – so in this scenario – if at all I (as one of the admin) gets blocked out by the other admin for whatever reason – how can I regain control & make sure that my site is safe (from any malicious files) & not tempered with?
I do get your point. But it is not about trust or no trust – in todays’ age no one can be a 100% sure of anything. One needs to be careful & hence the question. Of course I want to give the person all the liberty/access for him to do the needful – but at the same same time, i want to safeguard myself as much. I think as a site owner one has the right to think so and under no circumstances for any reason would want to be in a situation where the other/second admin to either accidentally/deliberately block/delete the other admin. There should have been a user role that is equivalent to the admin role just that it does not have the capability to delete anyone else.
Thank you & well noted on both your points. However, I do feel WordPress should have given that right to owner/main admin that even if there is another admin to the site he is not able to delete them whether be it accidentally or intentionally.
