And did you extract downloaded wordpress inside htdocs folder or not.

Now, coming back to your query, to remove the “Latest Posts” add below given CSS by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

Try to deactivate all plugin.
Download the theme from www.ads-software.com site as i provide following URL:

Download any theme which one you like then unzip folder inside wp-content > themes
folder and activate theme from your admin dashboard. As you can see appearance to activate theme in theme section.

Which plugins you are using for your project?

If you have PHPMYADMIN installed, then select all the tables and choose “check and repair” at the bottom from database.
If you do not have PHPMYADMIN installed, you can type mysqlcheck from the command line to check and repair in database. mysqlcheck -A –auto-repair

3. If neither of these work, it’s time to ask your hosting provider to increase the maximum file and post sizes on your account. Keep in mind that most decent hosting providers allow this, and If your hosting provider won’t accommodate you, perhaps it’s time to find a new hosting provider.

4. There are some plugins in the plugin directory that can help you get around this limit, for instance, helping you “chunk” your uploads, breaking them into smaller parts. Try searching “increase file upload limit”.
(in the above examples, the limit is set to 100MB)

Is any issue create while uploading other plugin zip file.
Are you using www.ads-software.com or wordpress.com.
If you are using www.ads-software.com then try to download plugin from www.ads-software.com
Use the following site url:

After that activate plugin.
