In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Deadlock in Yoast with FlamingoWe have disabled the plugin for the time being. We cannot reproduce on our staging environment because it does not get the same load that our production server gets, and we are hesitant to re-enable on production as this is a recurring issue.
I don’t know if I should be reporting this to Flamingo/WPCF7 instead of Yoast – I can’t tell which plugin would be the source of the issue, except that it explicitly mentions
5TO_yoast_seo_links
for the table that is deadlocked.Hello Stanismir,
Thank you for the response. The errors have been fixed on our production site already, but enabling the Combine Javascript option still causes the problem I describe.
I have toggled the Combine Javascript setting ON on our main site if you want to try to reproduce. (I will flip it off in the morning). I do not see any sign that the scripts that have been extracted from inline are present elsewhere.
If you can locate the scripts that have been removed from between the “Woody ad snippets” comments while not logged in, please share with me where they have been moved to. You are welcome to create an account to see the issue.
Unfortunately, it seems as if the scripts are being removed, but not being placed into a new file which is being served, as none of the scripts are executing and there are no messages on the console. I have looked through the output HTML and don’t see reference to a new script tag with the combined JS in it, and I don’t see the inlined JS elsewhere on the same page.
What is the name of the file that is supposed to be served with the combined Javascript? Could it be a conflict with another plugin?
Update – I went through and deactivated plugins and found the culprit – it is not related to your plugin. In my case it was SG Optimizer from SiteGround (our hosting provider) – specifically the “Combine Javascript Files” option. Disabling this one option returned everything to normal.

@jkmwp – do you have this plugin/option (or another similar plugin) that is causing this for you?
Hello @webtemyk,
I’m attaching two screenshots of Chrome DevTools – one before logging and and one after logging in. There are no other differences. I’m also attaching two screenshots from Woody Snippets – the list page and one of the JS snippets.
Logged in: https://prnt.sc/w44opg
Not Logged in: https://prnt.sc/w44p99
Woody Snippets list: https://prnt.sc/w44r4c
Woody Snippet js page: https://prnt.sc/w44rzuI hope this is what you were looking for.
Thanks!
I am also experiencing this exact issue. When logged in, the JS Snippets appear as normal. When not logged in, the JS Snippets are not rendered at all. In the code it shows:
<!-- start Woody ad snippets CSS and JS --> <!-- end Woody ad snippets CSS and JS -->
There should be content between the comments.
This just started happening with WordPress 5.6. I haven’t found a workaround yet.
Please advise/update ASAP.
Hello @javmah.
I’m just checking in on this issue. Every day, WordPress sends me a notification about it via email.

@javmah – I can’t find the spot you are referring to to file a ticket. I thought that is what the forum is for. Regardless, I don’t think its necessary to get a pre-release – I made the change locally and haven’t seen the issue since I made it. I’ll grab the next patch build you put out.
Hi @javmah,
I’m just checking to see if this last issue is something that you will be looking at. I’d like to re-enable the plugin, but simply cannot right now as it breaks the entire site.
Hate to say it, but since updating the plugin, now I cannot even log into the site. It’s dead broke. I’ve had to disable the plugin.
There now seems to be an incompatibility with LearnPress – perhaps you made a function that overwrites their functions or something, but it killed the site.

I”m glad you are able to reproduce it locally. I was worried it was a configuration issue local to our server. Thanks again!
