Hi,
To remove the menu in the footer bar, navigate to Appearance > Menus and Select a menu to edit select box: footer and click on select button Then, delete each menu item of the footer menu and Save changes let us know if you need any help with that again. Thanks

The way you resolved the issue is the correct way if there’s any as I couldn’t see the issue when I look it in our demo site.

There seems an issue in the theme which we’ll check in detail and fix it in an upcoming update. For now, please go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and try adding this custom CSS:

height: unset;
}
