Ah thanks! I had missed this functionality of WP!

I am not sure if I can follow completely… setting a default taxonomy term is something the plugin guessed? Or just made the up? Could I define a “default” one? That would also solve it kinda, but seems like a hack if I actually just want to remove a selected Term.

Do I understand this right that you’re able to reproduce it and I can’t help with more data points about setup?

There are couple of other plugins like ACF Pro, Enable Media Replace, Redirection, SVG Support…

I am not sure what else I could give reproduce… hm. Would screenshots help?

I got the same issue – I would like to have the “No Term” option in Gutenberg. It seems there is the branch open but not merged. Is there anything I could help to speed this up, e.g. test it?
