I do not understand. The image definitely DOES NOT exist in the WP page. How can it exist in the HTML? It does not even exist in the media gallery. I have deleted it.

My CSS chops are a bit rusty. Do you mean something like this?

background-color: rgba(255, 0, 0, 0.3);
}

My only question is – how do I make sure the span element covers the background image perfectly, and more importantly – responsively?

So you say that I can only update manually? Because I don’t understand the message.

Maybe you talk about WP cerber? Can it be the culprit? Because I recall it showing blocking my own IP when I looked at the settings, but since then I have whitelisted my IP.

Wouldn’t it be incompatible with future updates of the theme? Does that call for making a child theme or not?

Its a free theme.

So you say that I was misled? Because I assumed a demo existed to show you the website you can make with ONLY the theme and without custom CSS or child themes. Is that not the case? Should I stop trusting demos?
