In reply to: [Autover] Feature idea: Avoid versioning remote librariesHello @chriscombsdc,
Thank you for this great feature idea and for your kind quick implementation.
I have opened an issue for this on our Github page for this plugin and we’ll get it implemented in the next Sprint.
https://github.com/presslabs/autover/issues/15
In the meantime, we might be able to merge it quicker if you consider opening up a PR and maybe adding in a test for this feature so we can get it approved faster.
Best,
~PresslabsHello @boulderpoet,
Thank you!
We’ve added a feature request in our GitHub page and we’ll try to include this feature to add a custom endpoint for your widget in the next major release which is planned for next week (the public beta).
Best regards,
~Presslabs TeamHello @boulderpoet,
We have not had a use case like this before.
So from what I understand you want to force displaying the top posts from analytics and use that URL instead of the posts you have in your actual database?
A feature like this would take quite a lot of alteration to the current code structure.
I’ll open a feature request for you so we consider this in the next Sprint.

In reply to: [Toplytics] Using [Shortcode] – Template is ignored…Hello @thefountain,
Thank you for reporting this issues.
What do you mean by wrong data? What is the difference we’re talking about between what Toplytics reports and GA shows?
There is a cache for GA reads, and all stats are automatically updated every hour by a CRON job. Also, can you check if the CRON is properly set-up and working? You can view and debug CRON jobs with a tool like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/advanced-cron-manager/
We’ll test your issues in a sandbox ourselves and let you know our finding.
Also, we have been working on a new version of Toplytics lately which should be ready by next week. If we find any issues related to the reported problems will fix them and include them in this new release. We’ll also let you know when it’s available.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Gitium] Visualstudio onlineHello @resdeni,
You can use Gitium to sync your WordPress website to a remote repository hosted on Github or Bitbucket, for example, then your local copy can be synced with the Github remote via VisualStudio in order to get a stream-lined development-deployment solution.
Hope I got this right. If not please elaborate your question.

In reply to: [Toplytics] Can’t connect to GA anymoreHI Matt,
Have you seen the question from our previous reply? Here it is again for you to check:
@mattdgn can you also install the plugin WP Crontrol and check if the numbers get updated when manually executing the “toplytics_cron_event”? If the answer is yes, then most probably there’s an issue with your cron events too.
I’d say that in both cases you could check this with your hosts as well.

In reply to: [Toplytics] Can’t connect to GA anymoreHi Dean,
If the cron job isn’t firing then maybe there’s something wrong with the cron events in general. Normally, if you see it in the cron list it should get executed every hour. In the WP Crontrol page don’t you see the last time it was executed or if there was any error with it?

In reply to: [Toplytics] Can’t connect to GA anymoreHi Matthieu and thanks for using our plugin!
Can you please tell me how the statistics look like in Google Analytics for your most visited posts? Are the numbers different from the ones you see displayed by Toplytics? Is there any error that you see in the Toplytics settings page? Do you see your connected GA account in the Toplytics settings page? I’m sorry for so many questions, I’d like to better understand what is happening in your case. Normally the statistics should get refreshed every hour.

In reply to: [Toplytics] No “Upload Auth Config File” link to upload JSON file?Hello @boulderpoet,
That is indeed the wrong archive as it contains the entire dev repository.
Here is the good one: https://dl.presslabs.net/temp/toplytics-3.2.2.zip containing only the plugin.
It should allow you to use it without the First part of the setup.

In reply to: [Toplytics] No “Upload Auth Config File” link to upload JSON file?Hello @boulderpoet,
Thank you for contacting us. Please go try this version that simplifies the auth process a lot: https://github.com/presslabs/toplytics/archive/3.2.zip
We’ll push this upgrade on wp.org soon, still working on other improvements.
