The email notification appears to have been sent to spam. Could you please try uninstalling and installing again? Immediately after seeing the error, check the logs and let us know what you find. This will make it easier for us to understand your problem.

If you still can’t find anything, maybe an error log plugin can help https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/error+log/.

Can you please check your error logs and see what is the error?

A 500 error most always have an associated PHP fatal error in the logs.

We have just released the updated version with a few fixes and php 8 compatibility.

Please uninstall your current Gitium version – this will clear all options, effectively resetting the connection to your git.

After the uninstall please install the new version and let me know if this worked as intended.

Thank you for reporting this issue.

We have an internal alpha version of the plugin that supports GA4, yet it is not yet ready for public and production use.

We have re-worked the entire authorization mechanism for GA4, but the fail-safe is still the same as this public version.

We’ll run some more extensive tests internally and perhaps re-work even this fail-safe mechanism to prevent further issues.

Also, thank you for the suggestion regarding e-mail notifications on disconnect. We’ll take that into account and perhaps implement this feature for the GA4 version of the plugin.

I’ll keep this thread open so I can notify you when the new version is ready.

There is no known issues with PHP8 for Autover.

I have just tested it on a clean WP install running on PHP8.

Please let me know if you see anything unusual related to Autover and I’ll look into it.
