If you want to apply the CSS code to the homepage only, please add the class .home before the selector, like this

You can try to use this custom CSS code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS, to adjust the width of the main content and sidebars

There is a problem while importing demo data on your site. The homepage and other pages are created by the Elementor page builder. You can try to re-create them by using Elementor as well.

and edit your page then check the box Customify Settings > Layout > Content Layout: Fullwidth.

Unfortunately, the layout in customizer settings only supports the default post. You can try to create the CPT archive page and single page by using other page builders such as Elementor.

It’s the dropdown icon next to the menu item. If you want to hide it, please go to Appearance > Customize > Header > Primary Menu > Enable option Hide menu dropdown arrow.
