Hi Enquirer
Interesting question. The original plugin (Edit Flow) was designed to work entirely in the admin area.
We wouldn’t be opposed to making metadata available on the front end, perhaps in a widget.
Would you want it to be publicly visible?
Thanks for reporting that @jpeek and sorry for the bug. We’ll have a fix out very shortly.
PublishPress Embeds should default to normal WP embeds, but we made a small typo there.
Hi enquirer32
They should already be appearing when you create posts:
https://pressshack.com/publishpress/docs/editorial-metadata/
https://pressshack.com/publishpress/docs/editorial-comments/Any chance you could explain more with screenshots? For example, where would you like to see the data input and comments?
Could you email [email protected] with those details, please.

Hi enquirer32
Sorry, could you explain that question more, please.
You want to see metadata on a post?
Thanks for using PublishPress, Jason
We tested the Duplicate Post plugin and weren’t about to (cough) duplicate your error. I think your issue is probably caused by something else.
Could you email [email protected] so we can check into this more for you?
Hi Suenee
That’s an interesting idea.
At the moment, only the “Publish” status means Published, but we could change that in a future release.
In the next couple of weeks we’ll release an extension called Revisions which will allow you to work on revisions to your content which will be published later.
Feedback from suenee:
“Scenario:
1. goto PP calendar in admin
2. Click on a date in the future (eg. 28.07.2017) from now (23.07.2017).
3. Fill a title and click on “EDIT”
4. Check the shleduled time. You should see 28.07.2017 00:00:00
5. You can write content of post, save it and publish it.
CORRECT, it works. And now we will do it again:
1. goto PP calendar in admin
2. Click on a date in the future (eg. 28.07.2017) from now (23.07.2017).
3. Fill a title and click on “EDIT”
4. DO NOT CHECK the shleduled time. Just believe that it set correctly.
5. You can write content of post, save it and publish it.
WRONG! Post is published NOW (23.07.2017 in actual time)It seems to me that shleduled time is ignored by WP. I guess you have to active the schedule form in editor. Then it will work well.”
Thanks. Let continue this back on the original post:

Yes, we can move quickly on this.
Every time we add one of these features, the most important thing is a motivated user who can test and give feedback. If you’re willing to do this, we could have the feature ready in about 7 to 10 days.
Could you email us via [email protected] if you’re keen?

Yes, that’s true. This is a fork of Edit Flow and we haven’t modified the notifications system yet. We hope to do that in the next few weeks.
Yes, if you select their name inside the post.
In the “Notifications” area you’ll see this: “Select the users and user groups that should receive notifications when the status of this post is updated or when an editorial comment is added.”
Hi imagefact,
Thank you for the suggestion. It would be a great addition.
We have that new feature on our radar for a next release in the next weeks. We already started planning it.Please, let us know if you need any further assistance.
Kind regards
