Would it not be reasonable to assume that Fatal error is also associated with browscap library?

Would you like me to do the following:
– get the latest browscap library as you suggested
– enable “whatever” in the settings of your plugin
– check error log to see fi Fatal is still present. But I think that if ti is page will not load.

Just help me to identify what that “whatever” check-box is in the settings.

Edit: Fount it under Externals. Now the stats page looks like before.

But stats details are back.
And the front and back end of the site are still up.

The plugin page states: “The following features are disabled, please go to settings page and enable them: online user tracking,hit tracking,visitor tracking,geoip collection”

I would love to help you but my problem is like of HJvD. After installing plugin via dashboard both, dashboard and website are down.

I can move plugin folder so this is how I was able to recover.
I can move the plugin folder back in to a production but before that I need instructions how to enable/disable whatever you would like by either editing some config files or changing setting records in db.

I am not sure what exactly happened at around 3am EST but since then my error log is full of “/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/Browscap.php” on lines 354 and 355.

The site was down.

After manually deleting wp-statistics folder site is up again.

Edit:
Using dashboard and reinstalling the wp-statistics plugin the site goes down.

If you would like to avoid problems of this nature here is what you have to do…

1. Find the source files of the games. For flash based games those are swf files.
If games is made to fetch some advertisements or anything else from another site that source probably will not work withing https. It seams that all games from critic do that, they call fupa.com and few other sites via http.
On the other hand there is 2dplay.com and so far none of games there are calling some other sites.

2. Upload the swf file to someplace on your site.
3. Get a plugin for wordpress that will embed swf files on to a page and finally…
4. Use shortcode syntax to display the uploaded swf file.

While this is nice plugin to have it just might be too much.
I have found simple solution by using unicode.

Every character set has arrows in it.
Those arrows will suffice.
