watermarking is an important feature that can be built into a 2.9.x version as you have already recognized the need to managed media in wordpress sites with 2.9.

if not, this is one feature i think is a must in 3.0

No 2.9 compatible plugin does a good job of handling watermarking.

if you still use wordpress 2.8 then use the scissors plugin

the watermarking function is by far the best functional plugin available.

i just reverted back to 2.8. The updates in 2.9 are great but from a functional point of view – Scissors means more to me.

seems like it took a while to refresh. problem solved

just upgraded to WP 2.7 and now the latest stable version (1.2.3) does not work in Firefox 3.0.5. The file just says “Buffering”. The same file works in IE7 though.

Pre-2.7 upgrade the plug-in worked on both browsers.
