Just saw your release Candidate on Github. I can confirm that it is working with Woocommerce 3.6. I am able to pull the cart and add stuff through the mobile app that I am working on.

I will revert to a previous version as you suggested.

P.S. I reverted 3.5.8 and that fixed the issue. Seems like its something with version 3.6 and up.
