In reply to: Site Problem After HackThanks for the response, guys. I tried virustotal and it said everything is clean. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m going to have to build it back up again, even though, using the same SEO methods that helped me get a steady amount of views, isn’t really working anymore, unless it just takes time.
Not sure if there’s anything else I can try.
Also, I hope you’re right Jan because it seems like the traffic just continues to drop. This month will be the lowest I’ve had in at least 4 years. I am very happy that the hacking has stopped but the damage has definitely been done that’s for sure.

In reply to: My RSS Feed may be brokenThings seem to be working now T-P. I had sent them my Feed Burner feed and it worked for them.

In reply to: My RSS Feed may be brokenThen yes, it works for me as well. I am not sure what issue they are having and they aren’t sure either. I did get hacked around the time that they told me they couldn’t ingest the content, but the site has been cleaned up and has been working great since.
So, I’m at a loss with this right now.

In reply to: My RSS Feed may be brokenWhen I click on it, yes. Does it go to SpecificFeeds? That’s what I redirected it to so that’s where it goes for me.

In reply to: My RSS Feed may be brokenHuh, that’s interesting. Thanks for clearing that up. I’m not sure why it is isn’t working for them. They keep telling me it doesn’t work for them (won’t say company’s name). Just find that bizarre.

In reply to: Creating new or changing RSS Feed/Feed URLHi @ospiotr!
Thank you for the reply!
How do I go about implementing one of the new URLs/feeds to my site? I have not done this before.
Thanks again so much!
Hey guys, I greatly appreciate your responses. Just did a WordFence scan and cleaned things up again. So far, so good. Hoping it stays this way.
I did another WordFence scan and everything seems to be cleaned up. Just to give some more information, I do have another website under the same HostGator account, so both sites are on the same server.
The golf site is my main site, but there is another site dedicated to video games. It was the gaming site that was originally affected, but then it carried over to the golf site I believe, which is my main site.
Again though, after performing a WordFence scan, and deleting and repairing some of the things that it said to look into, it seems like the site is running smooth again.
I’m not holding my breath though. Just keeping my fingers crossed. I did look over the guide yndmgo and it is what I followed. Hopefully, things will work again.
Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it. I’ll be sure to hop right back on this thread if the hacking persists.

In reply to: Errors on my blog in "Inspect Element"?Well see, the thing is, there was a reason why I changed to the theme I have now because of the load times of my older one. I load the theme I’m using now and it loads fine for me. There’s nothing much but articles. A couple of small ads but other than that it’s all articles and that’s the heart and soul of the blog. The juicy content if you will.

In reply to: Errors on my blog in "Inspect Element"?You know what guys, the Twitter error messages are referring to my Twitter widget which is a Jetpack plugin widget I believe. Maybe I need to delete Jetpack?

In reply to: Errors on my blog in "Inspect Element"?It said something about my Twitter widget (Which I just got rid of) and my ShareThis plugin (Which I also got rid of) but after getting rid of them, the errors are still there.
I’m using OptinMonster for optins to help build subscribers and the support team told me that the errors might be a reason why I’m not getting that many impressions (Note: I receive over 400 daily visits but have only had over 60 impressions).
The more impressions, the better chance of subscribers, and these errors might be in the way because the OptinMonster support person said that it may prevent some people from seeing my optins.
Thanks again,
