1.) The missing font icons could be solved by making changes to the fontawesome plugin settings. That part is solved.

2.) The error notice message could be disabled by turning off the “Link by Stripe” option in the “Express Checkout” setting section of the Woo Stripe plugin. Seems like similar issues have been reported by others recently. This issue remains open.

    Any further thoughts?

I would not say it’s useless. It’s free and just requires a bit more time to accomplish what you want to accomplish. I did that initially too, customized each header and footer, still okay for me since you may use the copy and paste function. Easy to my definition ??

Added: I removed the product images from the customizer so that the invoice is generated without product images. This somewhat works but isn’t a desired solution ?? What else is there we could look into besides updating the stack which is certainly not a short-term fix.

    Best,
    Christian

I was able to identify as to why some invoices work and some not. My findings makes the situation even worse as the cause is related to the product thumbnails. Those product thumbnails that use .png files are affected. Obviously with a large number of product images this is a huge challenge.

For now, unfortunately, I may need to disable the invoice part. So the test or change of logo file format won’t solve the issue. We would need to replace all image files which is obviously a no go.

Any other workaround you could potentially think of?

Thanks for your feedback. I changed the image to a GIF and it works fine for new invoices. For past invoices, strange thing is, that I can’t update some of the old invoices with the new template data. Some can be updated and for some the error keep returning as the “old” image is still grabbed. Perhaps a cache issue? Just not sure why some can be updated and why some can’t.

Dear all, I have a similar issue:

    Hi there.

This issue has been pending since March! I doubt that it’s that simple to just put the blame on COVID-19 – sounds too easy to be honest. But

again, what frustrates us is your constant promise that the “issue is fixed tomorrow, we are working on it” (repeatedly) and ultimately we get no further feedback for weeks until we send a very friendly reminder (for the past 4 month!). At some point this is just not acceptable anymore, especially because the plugin is paid for.

You won’t like it too – or not?

Best regards and awaiting a fix or refund.
    Chris.

Is anyone from the Snapppt development team reading this support forum? Looks like this plugin, as previously reported by others, has about zero support from the dev team. Sad.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

Agree, support is rather strange. No real support resources available with exception of a few help blog posts without the option to answer / comment.

No published contact form nor email address as well. This is rather upsetting and not what a user of their product would want to experience. Hope that the Snapppt teams takes such matters much more serious. User experience is key.

Good, if not even excellent idea, but bad execution.

    Dear Peter.

Wow – That was fast Peter. Appreciate your good work. I have applied the update and it works just as intended. Well done!

    Cheers,
    Chris.
