In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3TC Settings Conflict-Degraded Slow PerformanceHi Marko
Understood. So i’ll just enable the CF minify and disable the w3tc minify auto option since it does not seems to be working with our theme.
Much appreciate your assistance and prompt response.
Thanks

Your scores look better. I’ve been testing PageSpeed Insights which is probably (US), GTmetrix (canada), Webpagetest.org (Mumbai, India), Pingdom (US). So basically your suggesting we’re good with current settings with minification enabled on Cloudflare.
Thanks Again.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3TC Settings Conflict-Degraded Slow PerformanceHi Marko
There’s an update. I had to disable minify completely in w3tc and enabled it on cloudflare. Looks like the minify auto broke the site and it took sometime to reflect due to cloudflare always on setting. I tried the manual method but there were around 250 js files with duplicates in the help wizard. Finally excluded duplicates and tried to exclude multiple files 1 by 1 but overall looks like the js minification was not working even after deleting multiple files. So just enabled the minify on Cloudflare. The performance has improved but not as much. As of now database and object cache are also disabled which were configured with memcached. What would you suggest. Should i keep trying to fix the minify with w3tc with manual method or let cloudflare minify it. Also anything else I can optimize in w3tc to tweak the performance.
Thanks

Hosting: India Hosting with AWS Lightsail with $20 USD/month plan with 4 GB?Memory, 2 Core?Processor, 80 GB?SSD Disk. Cloudflare CDN Free tier. Smush, WP-optimize for DB Only installed. Varnish and Memcache is installed on the same server. We have planned LB for future. As of now I’ve also disabled the cloudflare WAF rules.
I’ve tried to follow many articles for best configuration settings but they differ in all blogs. Recently our settings are as per the below-mentioned blog articles except that we have memcache instead of redis. https://onlinemediamasters.com/w3-total-cache-settings/
Today I’ve also tried disabling Database & object cache but no go. Page load is faster after disabling the w3tc plugin. We are not much obsessed with the gtmetrix score but just need a average ecommerce with average acceptable browsing speed for an ecommerce shopping site.
I have been trying to optimize the performance from quite sometime now. Also tried to the boldgrid.com articles to change the memcached to disk in certain scenarios but still no go.
I would really appreciate any guidance or reference to identify the root cause for the slow performance. I feel I’m missing some very basic criteria which might be the cause of these performance issues since i’m not a developer and have just read blogs to implement and configure the setup. I can provide server login credentials & relevant log files as needed for troubleshooting. Thanks in advance.
