I hope you can get it working again but meanwhile I want to thank you for a product that just worked, without any effort on my part, for so long.

I’ve removed the app from WordPress and Instagram, and then reinstalled them both. No change in the error message. I’d be grateful for help.

I had the same problem. Disabling “Better WordPress Recent Comments” did the trick for me.

Hello, Iain. I had to wait until I saw the problem again. It seemed to work normally until a few hours ago.

I don’t see any error message, but I did post screenshots of what I did see, here:

I get “You do not have permission to edit that topic” when I click on “edit your review.”

Formerly this was a one-star review with the title: Worked yesterday. Today says “Error: Instagram Servers Down”

Very glad to see the update is working again.

The only problem is I have to log in to WordPress from the Intagrate settings page, log in to Instagram again, each time I want Instagram to publish to WordPress. That kind of defeats the purpose of automating this connection.

I will post to the support forum and update this review as warranted.

I also get “Something went wrong. The template is not saved!”

There are no templates for me to choose from (“No templates found”), and I can’t create one.

Sadly, yes — I still get the same error.

Also having the same problem.

My tech support said there was a problem with a value of a cooke that prevented the proper function of php… after they reset that, Social seemed to start working again. I still cannot change the value of that checkbox, but the Social theme seems to be displaying normally. For the time being it seems the interface is working as I expect it to. (I haven’t yet found a new social comment today, so I hope it works under the hood, too.)

I can change other options.

They seemed to work briefly on Chrome, not Safari.

However, at the moment, when I click “Disable Social’s comment display (use standard theme output instead)” and then hit “Save Settings,” the checkbox reappears — so I can’t enable Social’s display.
