In reply to: Modify Footer TextThank you. I was able to remove the person’s name by following the instructions in an FAQ on the theme’s website. I didn’t know themes had websites. Apparently, this theme is not free, although I don’t remember paying for it.
There still are a link to WordPress and a link to the theme at the bottom of my webpage. Is it possible to get rid of these without using a new theme?

In reply to: Which theme? Thanks, Steve. Now, I have seen this, but I wasn’t sure due to the fact that “Themify Ultra”, the first box on the left, sounds like it might be a function. I’ve been wondering all along if “Themify Ultra” is in fact a theme. I guess it is.
So under Appearance/Themes there are actually 4 themes listed: “Themify Ultra”, “Twenty Fifteen”, “Twenty Fourteen”, and “Twenty Sixteen”. “Themify Ultra” is marked as “Active:”. Should the inactive themes be deleted?

In reply to: Download button of .exe fileYes, I though of that. But I came up with the idea of creating 2 downloads to give the user a choice of either the .zip or the .exe. I just wanted to make sure there is no problem with offering a .exe.

In reply to: Download button of .exe fileWhy do you advise the .zip file?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Download button of .exe fileCorrection: the .exe file download was blocked by my anti-virus program (AVG) not the web host.

In reply to: Download button of .exe fileI have succeeded in getting the .txt file to download. The .exe will not download even though i use the same code (except the file name) and the .exe file is in the same folder as the .txt file. I plan to contact the web host tomorrow. If they can’t fix it I will try to zip it.

In reply to: Download button of .exe fileIs this code correct to get the license file?
<a href="httр://www.cronapacific.com/public_html/license.txt">Test Doc (.txt)</a>
Didn’t work.
Also<a href="/public_html/license.txt">License Doc (.txt)</a>
didn’t work.
So you’re saying the next move is to contact the web host?
