In reply to: question about sidebarGreat! I did it.
Thanks for the help.In all of my reading though I have found that CSS is the coding I should follow and not HTML. Is this a preference thing or is one newer and what everyone follows, or what is the deal with all of that?
I figured since I am teaching myself all of this, and having a lot of fun I should say, and getting info from all of you guys, I would continue with the most updated and not stuff noone uses.
Thanks again!

In reply to: lifewpmdd.com and lifewpmdd.com/pmddblogOkay, I have checked it all, I found that *short and sweet* stuff where it was supposed to be, it’s still there. I also rechecked to make sure my 2 blog addresses were done right, they were.
Address says https://www.lifewpmdd.com and the other https://www.lifewpmdd.com/pmddblogI can’t fig out why it still won’t pull up as lifewpmdd.com but only as /pmddblog
UGGG… any help wonderfully appreciated again ??

In reply to: lifewpmdd.com and lifewpmdd.com/pmddblogyeah, you fixed it, I some where along the lines when I was learning how to do themes changes and all that stuff, I screwed it up. Before I messed it up any further I wanted to see if someone could tell me the easy fix.

In reply to: Messed up theme, admin, all of itYes, I can still log in.
Should I just go completely back to the basics and delete all of the themes I have loaded and start completely over? Also, I know this will prob be a really ridiculous question, but when I post is it like in wordpress.com where it will just show up there or do I have to use the ftp and get it to the site?
From what I understood in my readings, it would just show up, but it didn’t and all this happened. Uggg… I am wondering if I have jumped into more than I can figure out. ??
If you could let me know if deleting all of my themes would help, I can do that and go from there.
THank you for such a quick answer

In reply to: uploading theme, still not working after steps followedIt is working now, I changed it to resolved. The theme I was using must be missing something because I got a lot of others to work. YEAH!
Thanks for your help and good luck on your book.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: uploading theme, still not working after steps followedOkay, now when I click on the link you just gave me, it’s there and when i go back to admin, I have it partially there, but not fully.
Could you please tell me, if I am using only cPanel, do I need to unzip my theme before I upload it or afterwards, that could be my mistake.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: uploading theme, still not working after steps followedWhen I tried with FTP I unzipped first before I uploaded. I never found it so I decided to use cPanel, when I used cPanel, I uploaded it and then unzipped it when I got there, I thought that was how I was supposed to do it?
If I did both FTP and cPanel did I screw the whole thing up and I should backtrack? Also, since I have cPanel should I just use it and not use filezilla, which do u recommend I do?
Oh yeah, yes I did it in it’s own folder/themes, etc…
BTW, thank you for responding so quickly ??
