ok i get this error in the error log
[Wed Jul 02 19:41:23 2008] [error] [client IP] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 58368 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/HOSTNAME/httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/schema.php on line 246

how can i make it have more memory? or use less Memory??

still cant install just get the blank screen
If i put in mysql4.hostname.com I just get “Error establishing a database connection”

I took out the secret key section also and nothing.

I will try this tonight when i get home and post my results. hopefully it works

I just checked I don’t have a .htaccess file
should I put one in the folder?

what was the line of code you removed?

I have the same issue just a blank page when install.php comes up
the first config works fine and I can put in all my db detais.
No tables are created also.
