In reply to: Comment Box Not ShowingI’ve found the issue! I don’t like the new ‘Block’ format so use Classic Editor instead.
I found this post which showed where the right-hand bar is for enabling comments but couldn’t see it in the format I’m using. So I thought maybe I’ll disable the classic editor plugin for a bit and then go to the latest post and check the right-hand sidebar. Sure enough, there it was so I could tick for comments and refreshed and now it shows.

I find that incredibly annoying – I’m surely not the only one who prefers the Classic Editor style?
At any rate, it’s now resolved and hopefully my question here will resolve this issue for anyone else.

In reply to: Comment Box Not ShowingI should have thought of that, shouldn’t I have, @kaavyaiyer. Just gave that a try, but no, it’s not showing up in the Twenty Twenty Two theme at all. So clearly not a theme issue but something to do with WordPress. I appreciate you replying. I’m in Australia so appreciate the timing for responses here.

In reply to: [Tag Manager - Header, Body And Footer] Site won’t loadI completely lost my site using this plugin – it crashed and the wordpress files completely disappeared. Something seriously wrong. Fortunately we’ve reset the site with a backup but I won’t be trying this plugin again till I know it’s safe.
I still get the same problem – failed to import from media library or failed to upload direct from my computer. No idea why this problem when it’s always worked well before.
I’m going to have to try and find another gallery as the poor client has been waiting for a while for this and still can’t get it working.
Thanks, Kim, I’ll give that a go and will get back to you.
Here’s further information regarding my issue:
– PHP GD library is installed on the web server
– nothing in the error log
– php version 7.0
– folder permission are all 755 (correct)
– normal wordpress media gallery uploads work
– wordpress version 5.22
– images will not upload with plugin either as a direct upload or via import from the media libraryThis is for https://www.hillsphotographicsociety.org.au/
Kim, are you referring to WordPress version or the plugin version? For me it’s WP 5.2.2 and just logging back in there’s a new update for the Gallery – wasn’t there last week. However, that still hasn’t fixed the problem.
This will show you what I’m seeing. https://snag.gy/kRyMVL.jpg
However, will ask my IT support to have a look and see what they can see too.
I’m having the same issue – new images just won’t upload and no explanation as to why. Hoping you get an answer.

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Slider not showing up at allI’ll have to get back to you on that. I’ve had to put back the old theme for now as the client hasn’t provided new images for the new theme and I didn’t want to leave their site in maintenance view which is why you couldn’t see it.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Private listings for membersHi @richardmtl, thank you, yes, I’ve got it installed and have been able to set the jobs page and job dashboard to private setting for members only. So the public can’t see them – only those logged in. Still need to sort out a couple of other things but if I can’t find the answers, will post a separate question re each. Thank you.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Private listings for membersThanks for responding Jake. I use wishlist and it does provide for some private pages so I’ll see if I can get it to do it for this plugin. Good thought, and thank you.
I’ve had to explain to the client I need their Instagram login. They’re a sporting club so they’re getting the details from whomever runs it for them.
Ok, thanks. I was thinking it would be like Twitter and being able to do a feed without logging in. Makes it hard when I’m managing a site for a client.
