Hi there, this plugin won’t be but our new Canvas platform provides location functionality if the site supports it.
You can find more info here and request a demo: https://www.mobiloud.com/wordpress-mobile-app/
Zach,
Best to move this over email, I’m in touch with your customer.
Anyways, what I see is that any request from a simulator (or mobile app), be it on Android or iOS, gets an error 500 even when I’m just requesting the webpage, see https://files.mobiloud.com/3E2i2Y0e1k2l
When I request our API to return content from a desktop or the web, I get valid JSON. But the apps, simulator and our native apps on an iOS or Android device, both fail.
Hi Zach,
Of course, please contact us at [email protected] indicating your URL and we can check.
thanks
PietroI’m afraid this is not a feature we support. We offer push notifications based on the user’s preferences set up in the app, i.e. which category of content they’d like to receive.
Thank you, I appreciate you liking the service!
No it’s not free. This is a plugin for a mobile app building service. Pricing is mentioned and linked in the plugin description – second paragraph and again a few paragraphs later. When you install the plugin you get a free trial to test your app.
Like many other plugins of its kind it is in fact allowed on the directory. See for example Automattic’s own Vaultpress plugin (free plugin for a paid service that requires a subscription, just like ours).
Hi there,
The app will show your content, but won’t allow users to post new content to the site.
To see an example app, you can download our own “MobiLoud demo” app, at the links below:
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mobiloud/id903667370?mt=8
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiloud.android
?
You can also see an online demo here: https://www.mobiloud.com/demo/Thanks,
Pietro@made21 if you’re still interested in getting an app, we’re more than happy to help out. Just email us and we’ll check your forms.
This is not a review, should be in the support forum.
No it’s not normal. We can help you get this setup correctly for your app. Please contact [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help. Leaving a negative review is not the best way to get support.
Hi there, you can contact [email protected] and we’ll be more than happy to help you get comments working on your app.
thanks,
PietroFor your mobile site, I’d recommend using WP Touch.
Thanks Mustafa, this will be included in the next release.
Re Buddypress, MobiLoud is designed for a news site or a blog, but you can still load any webpage in a screen inside the app. So it does depend on what kind of app you’re trying to build. You can build a news app and add a page for activity in a forum via Buddypress, but it won’t be a good fit for a social network kind of app.
Regarding Multisite, you can install the plugin and it will work fine when activate at the site level. It needs to be activate on each site though.
