You access cpanel via your web hosting provider.

Most providers use cpanel, but there are some notable exceptions like GoDaddy that use their own admin interface.

CrushIQ, as already mentioned, in cPanel, you need to scroll down to the section titled “Databases” and then click on the icon that says “MySQL Databases”

You can quickly find out what WP theme a site is using by putting in the URL into https://whatwpthemeisthat.com/

I installed Duplicator 0.3.0 and it’s all good, ie: no WP error messages.

You can use What WordPress Theme Is That, to easily detect the theme.

I my wp-admin/error_log, I saw the following entry which would have been the reason for the message:

[17-Jul-2012 23:42:42] WordPress database error Multiple primary key defined for query ALTER TABLE wp_duplicator CHANGE COLUMN bid bid BIGINT(20) UNSIGNED NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY made by activate_plugin, do_action(‘activate_duplicator/duplicator.php’), call_user_func_array, duplicator_activate, dbDelta

I did install an older version of duplicator on the site some time back, but deleted it in the interim.

I don’t recall seeing that message when installing any other plugins.

I can confirm that Duplicator is working 100% fine on my site as I used it to transfer my WP site to another domain without any errors or hassles.

I also looked in the WP error log and didn’t see any error messages, so I’m guessing it’s something relatively minor.

One other thing I just thought of is that my site uses CloudFlare. Not how relevant that is though.

In the options, I’ve changed the minimum match score to 0, but I still don’t get any automatic redirects.

It would be really great to have a simple option to redirect everything to a specific URL.

UPDATE:

I managed to solve my issue, by going into cPanel and clicking on

MySQL Databases

I then did a “Check DB” and saw that WP-POSTS table was corrupted. Then after I did the “Repair DB” option, the Publish button came back.

Hope this helps anyone else with a similar problem.

Don’t have any suggestions, but I have exactly the same issue.

None of the suggestions I’ve seen on any of the threads have worked for me.

I’d really like to find a solution rather than delete/reinstall the site.

There’s a lookup tool called What WordPress Theme Is That, which will detect what WordPress theme a site is using. Also detects if a site is using Joomla, Drupal etc.

If a site is using a standard WordPress theme, you can use What WordPress Theme Is That? to find out what the theme is.
