For me it is call up the location 2 times. So the icon links are broken.

What i did for the .htpaccess file was this. I deleted it and then using notepad I copied and pasted the code wp3 gave me in to notepad. I then saved it as .htpaccess. Make use it does not have .txt or any thing behind it. Then upload said file to the wp3 directory.

Ok it is the plug in that is messing this up. I will delete it and update all files back to 3.0 before i did the install.

think i know what happed. I installed the update plug in and for some reason it knocked out the multi site. I am at this moment double checking this.

When that plug in is ready let me know. I would like to try it.

I have a question again for you. The question is this. I have been the site you listed. And i like how each of them blogs show up on the main page you have. How did you do that. I am making a site like that that for projects i am working on around the house. The site address that i am planing on using is https://gottabmine.com for this project.

I cheated.. I turned off Multi fixed it then turned it back on. It works like i want it to now.

i know that.. I just can not get to the Main websites Permalink area. Not sure why and it is strange. For some reson this seems harder then setting up wpmu.

Just one mroe thing, Under general Settings you could set up the page look from https://gottabmine.com/blog to https://gottabmine.com But once network is install i can not seem to find it. Where did it move too?

now i feel dumb.. I keeped loking for network in the wrong spot. That is why i could not get it to work. Hang me up to dry. Running network now. and got it running. going to hind my head in the sand now.
