You should see two comments if the system was working. The first specific for form 681 the second not specific to a form. You are only seeing the one not specific to a form.

No you don’t. You should see donor wall comments between the first two horizontal lines and you don’t in the screenshot you provided. There should be a donor wall comment just after the line “donor wall shortcode with comments but comments don’t show”

I updated the page with the example. Use the page below which contains both versions of the shortcode where the one than has the form_id does not show comments, but the one without the form_id shows the comments.
