I had the same problem and tried to change the send method form “wordpress” to “php” as suggested by hoffcamp and it works. Thanks. Now I got rid of the “WordPress” as the sender’s name in the FROM.
The shortcode [item (Nickname)] works as the sender’s emailaddress put in the FROM.
