In reply to: [ActivityPub] Webfinger Endpoint unavailableNo. That link wasn’t helpful.
What is the plugin supposed to be doing to ./well-known ? Is it changing .htaccess to redirect to its own files, or is it putting files in there?
Either way I’m happy to do this manually if someone just provides the details of what it should be.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] “Edit with Elementor” hidden when Aggregate JS enabledAdding modules/admin-bar/assets/js/frontend/module.js (and also trying just modules/admin-bar/) didn’t work, but unticking “Also optimize for logged on editors/administrators” did. It even mentions pagebuilders there, d’ohh!
This works, as I’m the only editor and don’t mind if my experience isn’t 100% perfectly cached. Thanks!
Update:
I disabled that plugin, re-validated with Feedburner, no problems.
For future reference, the plugin was WP External Links, which hasn’t been updated in ages.
Figuring out who installed that.
Sure. The feed is available at
https://moreplatesmoredates.com/feed/podcast
Feedburner is saying there’s a problem with the itunes:summary on line 304, but that line is a description? There are plenty of other closing itunes:summary lines that have unclosed HTML tags before them.
Line 2161 (as of now — will move if more podcasts are added) has an unclosed anchor link. There is definitely HTML, and it’s inside a CDATA element, but I now notice the closing double-brackets are misplaced!
<p>But in reality, Clomid is a SERM commonly used in <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="https://moreplatesmoredates.com/pct-and-ais-for-sarm-cycles/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-wpel-link="internal">PCT phases</a></span> to recover endocrine function, and Letrozole is a potent <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="https://moreplatesmoredates.com/aromatase-inhibitor-while-on-steroids/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferr]]" data-wpel-link="internal"></itunes:summary>
The CDATA seems to be breaking before a data-wpel-link and I’m pretty sure that’s being added by a plugin either my client themselves or a temporary “SEO Expert” (ugh) installed.
I’ll leave this reply, but then see if removing that plugin fixes this problem.
Thanks for your time helping!

In reply to: [Woocommerce Multiple Addresses] No longer functioning with Woocommerce 2.6.2I’m sorry, I wasn’t very specific in my description.
On the My Account page, editing addresses doesn’t show any support for multiple addresses.
https://store.alderac.com/my-account/
Now that I check for more details, I notice that it does appear to be working during Checkout ( https://store.alderac.com/checkout/ ) which also offers a big button to “Configure Addresses” that goes to
https://store.alderac.com/my-account/multiple-shipping-addresses/
which does work. The “My Account” edit address link instead goes to https://store.alderac.com/my-account/edit-address/
which only has single-address support.
I’ve set up a redirect for now. Is there an easier way to get the “Edit Address” link from My Account to work? Is that theme-based?

In reply to: [Better Anchor Links] Proper Nested ListsUpdate: I’ve fixed it myself!
function output_content_links(){ $info = ""; if ($this->options['is_numbering']) {$seznam="ol";} else {$seznam="ul";} if(count($this->links) >= 1){ $title = __($this->options['displayTitle'],'mwmall'); $info = '<div class="mwm-aal-container">'; $info.= "<a class='mwm-aal-item' name='Content-bal-title'></a><div class='mwm-aal-title'>$title</div> foreach ($this->links as $val) { if ($this->options['is_indent']) { if(empty($minule)) { $minule = $val[1]; $prvni = $val[1]; $ind = --$prvni; }else{$ind = $val[1]-$minule;} while ($ind > 0) {$info .='<'.$seznam.'>'; $ind-- ;} while ($ind < 0) {$info .='</'.$seznam.'>'; $ind++ ;} $minule = $val[1]; } $urlval = urlencode($this->toAscii(strip_tags($val[2]))); $info.='<li><a href="#'.$urlval.'">'.strip_tags($val[2]).'</a>'; } if ($this->options['is_indent']) { $ind = (++$prvni)-$minule; while ($ind < 0) {$info .='</li></'.$seznam.'>'; $ind++ ;} } $info .= '</div>'; } return $info; }
This is my new “function output_content_links”.
It removes the top-level list container as this was also causing problems with my ordering and all that list ever contained was other lists and no list-items.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 500 Error after update – missing fileI imagine you were freaking out as much as I was. After a switch from LAMP to nginx/php-fpm/FastCGI and using OPCode PHP caching I’ve had a few batches of weirdness because of all the caching going on (but a wickedly faster/leaner server).
It didn’t spring to mind immediately because I was, as mentioned, freaking out. Glad it was an easy fix that I got to quickly. I think “clear your PHP cache” is probably going to become my “did you try turning it off and then on again?” whenever I have similar problems in the future.
If you’re in Vancouver, BC in a few weeks, come on out to our live podcast! https://www.causticgear.com/event/caustic-soda-space-disasters-in-3d/

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 500 Error after update – missing fileUpdate RESOLVED: poked around and found that that file shouldn’t even be called which reminded me I should clear my caches after the upgrade. Cleared my OPCode and nginx caches and was able to successfully re-activate the plugin.
I’ll leave this here for anyone else having the same problem.
The only other comment plugin we use is Akismet for anti-spam.
I hadn’t tested with the default theme (oops), but after your post I did using TwentyTwelve (and the Theme Test Drive plugin) and got the same behavior. In case Theme Test Drive isn’t a suitable way to test for this I’d rather wait for a less busy period (post midnight, PST) to subject our visitors to a surprise TwentyTwelve layout to see if it’s the theme causing the problem.
I’ll try to do that tonight.

In reply to: [Print Invoice & Delivery Notes for WooCommerce] Logo Size IssueUpdate: Ok, the 300 pixel wide one is the one that’s showing on the settings page, but when I mouseover I see the larger logo.
The logo on the printed invoice is still *tiny* though. Do I need to create an even bigger image?
I’m seeing the same behavior.
Even forcing Facebook to refresh their cache for the shared URL doesn’t make the image show up.
Sample FB post without image:
This isn’t you? There’s a donate button there.
The new Developer Version works! No more space!
Thank you! Best and fastest plugin developer response ever!
And for the record, I did a test before trying the new Dev version, disabling my Extensions, clearing the cache, and testing in an Incognito window and the space still showed up.
Also of note was that the space also appeared in “File Size” but was trimmed after Publishing/Updating the post. Duration returned empty if it was Published/Updated with the space at the beginning.
Next payday you’re getting a donation from Caustic Soda for sure!
Grabbed it, backed up my release version, installed Development Version.
Cleared browser cache, loaded the latest podcast, cleared the “Duration” field and clicked “Auto Detect”. Space still occurs in Chrome.
Google Chrome 12.0.742.91 on Windows 7/64 bit.
I hadn’t thought about trying other browsers…
Firefox 4: Yes, no space!
IE 9: No space.So it’s definitely a Chrome problem.
