” A visitor from Sydney is looking at the wedding photography packages page ”

So would need to geolocate and know the page and randomly pop or a notice.
there are a few plugins for Woo but they require a transaction to have occurred rather than just a page visited.

Its a big ask I know but the benefits will be to keep people on my page longer and encourage exploration.

Which places the album on the page, the gallerys are pulled from the album. Its all on the same page.

If I password protect the client gallery page, that will block everyone out. I want to just lock down one gallery in an album

Hi, they are all in folders but im only trying to import one folder at a time. they have no sub folders below them.

yep,they talked about the xmlrpc.php calls that some host providers see as hack attacks and block but each time they have advised that no block has ever been put on my IP address in any of the logs.

Thats why I went down the wordpress avenue thinking its possibly doing something.
I even tried renaming my xmlrpc to something else and using a plugin that tells wordpress where to find it now. Still didnt work. CHanged it back.

oh, yes, that works perfectly. its only external uploading that causes the lockout

And as the site is “unavailable” to me for varying periods depending on my persistance, there must be some mechanism stopping me access the site. Something is disallowing me for set periods.

I have monitored the site externally and its always down, its just me.
Trying to find a monitoring tool that will monitor it from my IP address but having no luck.

Because, as I mentioned before, as soon as I change my IP through VPN or access the site through my phone or teather my phone to my mac the site still up.
I have tried on 4 computers on the home network, 4 browsers, cleared cache, cleared DNS etc and still an issue.

there are two plugins that cause it to occur, both through lightroom.
One is a plugin from shootproof:

Both after upload only a few files cause my site to be blocked from my IP.
First time for ~20 minutes, then for longer.
Its very much like its seeing this as an attack and blocking me automatically for varying periods depending upon my persistence
